  2. Stars to win this !! The Aces have struggled for points all season at reserve and the Stars could pick up valuable points at the bottom end. With play-offs already confirmed for the Aces and a big weekend in Wroclaw for Brady Kurtz, I wonder how competitive they will be tonight. First ever trip to the Adrian Flux Areana / Norfolk Arena last week and the track wasnt as deep as it has looked on tv but the Spires put up little or no competition. Aces have struggled on travels to support Kurtz and Bewley and it woulf be a surprise if any different this evening. (Think Kurtz should bring the Elmo Helmet Cover as featured in the latest speedway star).
  3. FIrst time at Foxhall last week and the racing wasnt great but for a my family this meeting and Kings Lynn on the Mon it was our "live" speedway season. So good to see live racing again. The racing wasnt spectacular but as an Eastbourne fan was good to see Tom Brennan looking quick. Plus Jason Edwards also looked competitive at reserve. Decent set up in general although the promotion could do with concreting the steps on the backstraight - was definitely a couble of wobblers making there way out. Fair play to all that contributed to the BenFund.
  4. (...)"The most important factor is cost savings. The new type of tire will be significantly harder than the current ones, and therefore several times more durable. With the same type of tire, English Premier League players can cover up to five races on a single tire. Furthermore, when ordering tires in bulk, the price will drop from the current 500 złoty to as much as 300 złoty per tire. Great words of appreciation are due to Krzysztof Cegielski from the "Metanol" speedway riders' association and the coach of the Polish national team, Rafał Dobrucki , because they were the initiators of this change."(...)
  5. Been on Speedway Plus programme generator just incase no insert in this weeks programme 😁😁
  6. They hav ein the past suppose depends what footie game is on
  7. Whats all this got to do with Poole 2025?
  8. Cami Brown in the 'official' Glasgow summary! He should be reported/fined/disciplined for 'bringing the sport into disrepute' and encouraging a hostile atmosphere in the return leg, at which I hope they have a strong, fully neutral ref as they won't have the benefit of any TV/stream replays.
  9. Think everyone seems to have missed this if Morris guests for me that like for like atleast Morris at no2 in the championship is going to get plenty of points. think Poole will go through overall. Lawson is unbelievable at this level this year hardly dropping points at all,we definitely needed that from Zach Cook last night and about time he knocked in a double figure score I feel like atm he is our 2nd heatleader with the way Rowe is and as for Kerr we all knew this would happen you just know in these big meetings something like this would happen cost us a top place in the BSN group with issues at Plymouth and Oxford, you could see in the pits Neil was fuming just before Kerr’s 2nd ride still not having his bike ready, there’s no way he’s at Poole next year. Thomsen,Cairns and Starke were all brilliant and that covered for the heatleaders a big team performance last night.

  11. Does the black and gold club show the GP ? If so could watch it for 45 minutes before the speedway UTC 🔵⚪🏁
  12. ive always laughed at the idea that speedway could be corrupt but some of those decisions last night make you wonder horrible club hope glasgow stuff them in the second leg
  13. I stopped liking him when he let Lynn down last season.. He's probably on a decent guarantee, so might not be bothered. He has been pitiful this season imho. 19 lasts, 6 retirements, and finished last more times than he's had heat wins away from home. Someone will get him on a silly average next season, if they want the gamble. He seems to ride well in Sheffield colours..
  14. "We are surprised by the hostility shown towards our riders at the stadium. They received verbal abuse throughout the meeting by the fans near the pits. The atmosphere was extremely volatile. “We are also surprised by some of the tactics used with a win at all costs attitude. “For a club of Poole’s deemed stature, that’s very sad and we don’t believe that is acceptable or necessary." This from someone who has apparently sworn at fans in the past. Is he right or is it just sour grapes after leading halfway through the meeting?
  15. Reports that in 2026 the Extraleague will be using significantly harder tyres supplied by the clubs.
  16. I was saying this to others last night. It’s a shame that fixture conflicts have prevented us from seeing him so far. As much as he could bite us in arse, we all want to watch the top young prospects in person. In regards to last night, the track was top notch. And the huge pile of shale in the car park can only be a positive of things to come too. In regards of some of the decisions, Dayle came down twice, and yeah there was contact, but he was behind both times. Glasgow are potentially lucky to get away with all 4 back both times. With Leon & Zach, it could’ve gone either way. If Leon is right and Cookie took his leg away with his dirt deflector, than Zach was in front. Either way, someone was going to be annoyed.
  17. Even with nagel poole would imo get 39 Lawson 13/14 alone
