The thought of listening to me babble on about speedway is mind numbing š and the Mrs just agreed with me š

No - but he rides in the Polish league for Landshut

Had charles signed for a polish team?

Nice to see that most of the listed riders for this match begun their careers in The NDL

The cunning of gavin parr lol

The clash of what many see as the bottom two clubs. Scunny built to win at EWR, Redcar, reeling from the loss of Charles Wright having to rely on the help of a ring rusty Kyle Howarth and the cunning of Gavin Parr. Iāll go 45-45 with Rambo getting a paid max. Or maybe 65-25

This northampton situation is the strangest business model Iāve ever seen annd I know Iām not alone, apart from buster and his digger what is going on ? Were they pushed into making a decision to run by the time scale but havenāt actually secured the finances to run yet ? How do they expect to attract a fan base from the local area when nobody knows itās actually happening, opening a new sport to an area thatās not really got a history of it and making it a success is hard enough but they seem to be giving themselves the worst possible start to achieve it, -

Press & practice day on Thursday for the new look or old look witches depending on your view point. Any way the new era starts. Thoughts on the season ahead? While I canāt see us defending the title I donāt think we will be a poor as some think. Wr are going to struggle at Belle Vue & Sheffield for sure. -
Ah right yeah, it did get known as āThe podcastā, but yeah No Brakes No Fear is the actual name. Glad you enjoyed Bruce anyway, Iām hoping to do more stuff like that during the season this time rather than in the winter as has been the case. Itās great there are other podcasts around now which werenāt there 5 or 6 years ago. Personally I think we need more club specific podcasts / YouTube channels, either official club backed or just fan based ones. And for those podcasts to collaborate with each other and not see it as a competition. People will watch and listen to more than 1 thing, and whatās clear is if you watch or listen to 1 speedway show youāre probably going to listen to more, the stats prove that.

Like I said I donāt use the British speedway website, Iāve probably heard the bits played in the stadium in the background but canāt say Iāve actually listened to whatās being said and didnāt realise it was part of a podcast, the only radio station I listen to is planet rock and more the point is as much as I love the sport I rarely listen to podcasts about it, I think Iāve listened to 2 that I can remember, 1 was rob godfrey on 360 podcast which was the say nothing I thought it would be and the other was Bruce penhall with your good self which may of been on the said mentioned podcast, I listen to podcast most days but for whatever reason just not speedway ones, like I said initially I hadnāt heard of it was probably because the poster had called it British speedway podcast and not no brakes no fear which I had heard of but not listened to, anyway the fact that itās not for me is irrelevant, it serves a purpose in the sport and getting rid of it is a mistake but not surprising

Such a shame and shortsighted of whoever decided to axe it.

It remains available and you can listen to all 168 episodes here.. It was promoted in every club match programme, on Brtitsh Speedway social media channels every single week including video clips, British Speedway website including embedded player which is still there, 5 min cut down edit played in all Premiership stadiums during every meeting for the last 2 years, and also interviews were shared with a number of BBC Local Radio stations too. So pretty impressive that over 5 years youāve managed to avoid it šš¤·āāļø

Probably because they spent most of the day trying to get a guest and arenāt exactly feeling good about the coming season at the moment. Easy home win expected unfortunately but hope the Bears put up a fight.

Howarth in for Wright, I think Scunny can win this although Redcar have got quite a few riders that go well round the EWR. Redcar website is poor, no mention of this meeting.
