  1. Past hour
  2. I think we can all see you are the pathetic one. I merely stated a fact and you suggest I'm undermining British speedway. How much have you contributed to supporting Britain's international efforts? C'mon list your donations if you are so big about supporting British speedway.
  3. Are you confusing the night when Ben Powell, riding for Scunthorpe, aimed his bike (after the race) at Newcastle's Kenni Larsen (after Powell had dismounted it)?
  4. Are you confusing the night when Ben Powell, riding for Scunthorpe, aimed his bike (after the race) at Kenni Larsen (after Powell has dismounted it)?
  5. I think its a hell of a gamble holding swc in the Warsaw, if they only getting 8000 in Torun for the pairs. The poles might prefer the SWC but will 50000 turn up?
  6. There's only one Poole PIRATES one Poole PIRATES Walking along singing a song Walking in a PIRATES wonderland!
  7. That was… sort of the point.🤯 I had already criticised the Poole track, so didn’t want to also criticise Redcar’s. I’d take ten of tonight over one from Wimborne Road though. I call that track the sleeping tablet.
  8. Stal move fast, 2 million Zloty has been granted by the president of the city after a meeting this weekend. He is legally allowed to give 2 million without a vote, the remaining money needs to be voted through but stal have already had sponsors tonight who say they will give money. The truck that was used for the ‘celebrations’ tonight was from a sponsor of stal’s track who stays with them in the future too. The Stal president announced they have a fresh team next year but cannot formally announce it until they obtain a 2026 license.
  9. Grand Final Dates Oct 15 Poole vs Glasgow Oct 17 Glasgow vs Poole (From the Poole website)
  10. Fair enough SS. Would you like Poole to have another crack at the Premiership or prefer the Championship action?
  11. Today
  12. Big difference between a track which is usually excellent being poor now and again and a track which is usually poor being excellent now and again.
  13. Hopefully something gets sorted there and quickly. A fine club Sheffield Wednesday.
  14. Thanks for mentioning the fact that due to probably one of the, if not the, worst owners in football history, Sheffield Wednesday have a chance of not existing any time soon
  15. He will be super lucky to ride tomorrow with how he was walking after the match and how he was greeting the fans with his jacket on. I’d suspect RR tomorrow once he wakes up tomorrow with the pain.
  16. Flew up a couple of years ago when cop26 was on. Travel Lodge at £650 a night. 😛 Too far, easy to watch stream. Yes it’s rubbish to being there but too just too far.
  17. You have to go to Glasgae Shovvy fly up. You are loaded could buy Sheffield if you wanted to!
  18. No passing tonight after second bend in 15 heats. As each lap went on riders got more spaced out. I didn’t find it dull due to what was at stake, but for a neutral it must have been a very poor watch. But Redcar only have themselves to blame. The overwatering took away any home advantage, rendering Wright and Kings passing ability obsolete. What were they seriously thinking? They went into tonight’s meeting as clear favourites. I was thinking the worst at heat one but when Thomsen gated and held off Wright, I thought, hmmm, perhaps we might be in with a sniff. Wright and King had a terrible meeting. There was no consistency with any Redcar rider. I bet next week the track is completely different and will suit the Redcar team much better. Pirates will need a bigger lead to take back up there.
  19. They didn't have Nagel then and he is a riders who is going places in the sport but after tonight anything is possible.
  20. Most on here care but it is probably those in charge who have lost touch with what supporters of this particular two wheeled sport want. SON was in the most part boring except for the underdogs in Germany taking a title. It seems that speedway has lost its way at international level and has become very insular from a local league level. It will take something or someone special to pull the sport together at the highest level and as long as the riders and not not the authorities dictate when and how meetings take place and what conditions it is on a downward trajectory. Someone needs to get a grip particularly in the UK as the current set up is failing all genuine supporters.
