I think the shame is the Bates thought we won't try/spend to get someone in once Jack was injured as theres a 66% chance we will finish in the top four and only other team with a genuine world class number one over here will finish in the bottom two and we can use him for possibly three matches end of year. Now given they seem to want out and have no doubt poured six figures plus in over the years I can understand there reluctance to spend and continue on the cheap but for the loyal fans its not really a great outcome who have been asked to stump up the same money at the gate every week for a substandard product.

Unlike his buddy Coops who, on his two visits to Berwick has succeeded in knocking off/bringing down (pick your phrase) Peter Kildemand and Jye Etheridge (twice) in the same race and -- in the worst example of his over-enthusiasm -- Reid Battye in a horrible move. Earning two exclusions and a slap. All deserved. Of the two youngsters, Will seems to be more in control of his actions

Belle Vue have had it easy this season with the other teams being hugely weakened and they have took advantage Lets look at the big 4 from last season Belle Vue replaced Lidsey with Kildemand and Mulford with Cairns … weaker Leicester lost Fricke and Becker replaced by Dan T and Morris then lost probably the best reserve in the league …. Much weaker Sheffield lost Morris replaced by Killeen and then lost their number one and could not replace him … much weaker Ipswich lost Emil Doyle Ellis and Dan T replaced by Lawson Nicholls Musielek and Pedersen …. well well short of last season …. Proving by how comfortable we was against Belle Vue at home last season compared to this For Belle Vue fans to not say the league is weaker this season is a joke as the changes I’ve posted above show that clearly … although the injury to Holder was an enforced issue not a promotional choice Belle Vue deserve credit for persevering with Blodorn Cook and Tate riders who fly round the NSS but season after season pretty poor away from home ..and for being unlucky in losing Bewley but getting Doyle quickly … But to say the league this season is tougher than last is just not true …. Once we saw how poor 3 of the teams were then it was down to only Sheffield and Leicester and the Holder injury/ loss of fricke and Howarth … means Belle Vue will be champions unless they bottle it

IMO championship on a Saturday evening would be perfect. I went to Mildenhall on Saturday and saw some great racing in the Nora set up but once a season is enough for me as it’s generally the same 12 riders every meeting with a different race jacket the following week. if it was full of young up and coming talent I’d feel differently but it’s often riders who have been reserves at ndl level for years

Unless averages are immaterial for the reserves similar to rising stars this year? A points limit for 1-5’s, then two under 21 riders.

I’d hold fire and wait and see because those Polish articles are not always factual. Last winter they were saying there would be a one over eight rule in the Premiership and Belle Vue would have to release one of Kurtz or Bewley and that never happened.

Hopefully Chris Anders and Leon will ride like we know they are capable of doing. Nice to see both Jye and Luke really trying over the last few weeks . Last week was a very weak performance by the Team. We will need a big lead to take to Leicester if we are to reach the final .

As Phil states BV have a 3 year contract, so there will certainly be an SGP in Manchester next season, as there is no way the GP Promotors are buying themselves out of that deal, and why would they want to after 2 successful years. The only caveat I will put on that, is if the 3 year deal was contracted for 1 SGP only, and this year they have only offered BV 1 SGP and we can't make that Pay, we will know soon enough on that one. As for the long term it makes sense, if possible to have more tracks in each country that can hold a GP, Tracks in Poland come and go and come back again on the SGP calendar so why not the UK. If you have Glasgow, Manchester and Ipswich as your 3 tracks, and say we get 2 SGPs per year then you could share that between 2 tracks each year with one track missing out every 3rd year. That would add the variety and keep it spread across the UK to enable more fans to go. I think Glasgow would be good to go (not sure on the Capacity though), but the Ipswich track would need widening, its just to small for a GP IMO and would not give us the top class racing we want to see. Not saying that cant be done, but it certainly needs doing.

Absolute nonsense. Leicester have won the cup and finished 2nd can can win the playoffs Sheffield built a strong team, they will now be paying Max a big sum to ride in the play offs, they can also win it. Lynn built a team good enough to challenge with a GP number 1, for some reason it hasn't worked out. Ipswich could have gone for Doyle at anytime time, they chose not too, BV did, and that's paid off. Lets not pretend this years league is weaker than last year, it isn't. The bottom 2 last year were cannon fodder, Lynn were not much better. This year the last play off place went to the wire. Yes BV ran away with the league phase, but hats based on huge improvements of 3 riders that anyone could have signed over the years, in PK, TZ and Norrick. In fact most on here were slagging off the bottom end of the BV team back in March. It just comes across as massive sour grapes from the 2 or 3 (No more than that) Ipswich fans who were walking around waving their nobs about last season. Grow up.

He made a mistake, he is not a dirty rider. he should not have been excluded in heat 8.

I do not think Cairns needs to be careful at all, we need more riders like him. What is wrong with a bit of winding up, if riders react like Mulford did, who knows what side the referee will take.
