  1. Past hour
  2. A really likely outcome. The pinnacle of the sport being used as a 'try out'. At best he's just getting a MONSTER farewell tour. In THE World Championship. It stinks.
  3. Let's hope for two really close meetings to showcase the sport.... And the Lions win.....
  4. Can’t for the life of me understand Woffinden getting a pick.
  5. There wont be any chokers on either side but they all need to be on their game, if Ellis rides like he did last night he could be a title winner, Tom B could be key, hope he is ok, he had a off night for Poole at Oxford this time last year.
  6. Shows as British Speedway Highlights at 7:30, probably just an admin error If you are recording it, i would check because it was recording this morning but not just now when i checked it
  7. Woffinden will do about three GPs. He'll be stone last in the standings and then will jack it in citing his injures from the season before. Picking him has really turned the sport into a complete mockery. It's either backhanders or some proper delusional people picking the wildcards. btw who does the picking?
  8. If Ipswich want to win the title,, can't afford to carry any chokers tonight,, time to lay last seasons choke at Leicester to bed
  9. Woffy is a ridiculous selection.Friends in the right places.Suppose he is handy as the resident DJ.Absolute Joke.
  10. Today
  11. Disgusting. If Wroclaw's 2nd best rider nearly beat Zmarzlik, imagine what Wroclaw's best rider would do. I will be boycotting the GP series.
  12. Tom is improving each year, has had some really good meetings against top men.Hope is OK for tonight.
  13. The pits were already cluttered with ex-World Champions. Ove at 92 and a true legend was the only one worthy. Rickardsson and Hancock are just competing to be the most boring uncolourful 'colour man' on camera. And now we have another has been in the actual series. And there was a hope that Discovery taking a back seat could be a good thing. Downright disgusting to me.
  14. I'd suggest trying a GP at Wroclaw or Torun, vastly different from a Speedway of Nations and potentially a league meeting bonus on top. I don't think I've missed a GP in Torun, but as soon as this years calendar was announced it didn't take a second to rule out Torun for 2025 as SoN just doesn't do it for me. Hopefully back to normal service next year, or maybe even a return to a summer GP in Torun.
  15. I don’t think you can blame the gps. The sport had already been in decline for the decade before their introduction. What you blame is failure to move with the times in the uk.
  16. 50-40 to Lions for me. The track could either be a bit on the heavy side or go slippery later as the base will have absorbed a lot of water on Friday
  17. Four Australians. What's the chance of a GP in Australia? (Zero I expect!)
  18. Don't disagree with any of that but the frustrating thing is if you look at the last world team cup when Poland pipped GB at the post the place was packed and the last four heats were out of the top drawer.
