This looks a seriously weak team. Expectong Norick and Zak to step up to heatleaders is gamble which I think will fail at least at the away tracks. Can't believe that Mark didn't go for Ben Cook. I only hope that he tries Tungate who at least at home could be a heat leader. Although Klindt did well in the final his general record is 3,0,3,0 from my recollections.

It’s difficult when you try and rate your own club. For some reason to me at least, others always look better! Getting ahead of ourselves a bit here as we need to wait until the teams are officially announced.

If this Leicester team start as favourites gotta have some kind of trump card somewhere in the team as I don’t see Howarth and Thompson miles better than Riss and Nilsson at Ipswich.

I don't have any affinity to Ipswich (or any other active club), but this feels like one of those situations where the BSPL could create some sort of last-minute rule change and Coleman might think 'what's the point?'. It's clear Coleman is trying to drag the sport forwards, the last thing we need is him binning the whole thing off.

Agreed wishing them all the best, still think championship would be a more sensible option for them given they should have more flexibility on operating night, plus lower operating costs whilst they guage if ther is still an appetite for speedway at the stadium (hopefully there is).
