Sadly, I think GBs best chance of a SWC win was in 2023. Poland were there for the taking. We were one rider short but still pushed them very close on their home soil. I agree with you though, Poland's talent pool really isn't that deep as it stands, and Australia look formidable. I'd sooner rely on Fricke/Kurtz/Holder in a big team meeting than whoever they can find to partner Zmarzlik.

Other than Zmarzlik the others tend to blow hot and cold at the best of times add to that the temporary track (which it won't be) the Aussies & Brits are just technically better riders, except from Zmarlik.

Against Zmarzlik, Dudek, Kubera, Pawlicki brothers and Drabik, I don’t think so unfortunately 😂 as much as I would love to see it! Why are so confident it won’t be? 😂😁

If it's held at Warsaw, which it won't be 😂, I can even see GB bettering Poland with Lambert, Bewley, DJ Woffy & Brennan.

But @lbw is only travelling half the distance,from the midlands to Redcar ,he must be the most travelled home supporter every week to watch the pilots

Zmarzlik usually struggles at Warsaw but Dudek & Kubera made the rostrum this year I think. Kurtz, Holder, Doyle & Fricke will start as favourites. If GB don't have Woffinden it could be a struggle to qualify for the final. Wasn't keen on Warsaw as a city when I went to.GP there, it lacks the charm of Wroclaw, Poznan, Krakow & Torun.

Glad you guys told me who won, because my recording stopped at 2h 33m and I never saw the final. Anyone else get this problem? It’s happened before with TNT. Went to underwater basket weaving or something.

Poland will be sunk without a trace in SWC, especially with no home track advantage (if its held in Warsaw... which it won't) they have no match for Holder, Kurtz, Doyle & Fricke. Another reason why it won't be held at Warsaw, the fans must know this deep down.

Eurosport Polska interviewed Zmarzlik and Dudek, Zmarzlik blamed the clutch broke in the semi final as MJJ rode a hard corner, whereas Dudek just said congrats to Australia and such is life. Zmarzlik then was asked is he ready for SWC, he replied yes that is better than the SoN, Dudek just said he welcomes all. I really like Dudek and how relaxed he is!

Lawson scored 11 from 6 at Redcar this season so I think Adam gets 10 or 11 from 5 he will have done his job

Out of interest what average would a returning rider get? Would Ellis be on his old Champ average which I think is a low 7? Or be on his converted prem avg which would be above a 9? Maybe he will be back in the championship next year?

Correct … I don’t see Michelsen Fricke or Doyle being consistent enough to be at the top but they can make finals and win GP’s on their day…. Pluck 3 youngsters in and they have zero chance
