Still working on it as I am having a problem with one photo at present. Cant find the Old Comerades song yet... Any ideas?

Would you like some contact details Norman for book sales?

Yes please, Jim. But I see you've already put Mike on there as a contact for the book. Mind you, there's always "Speedway in East Anglia"...

The site's coming along really well, Jim. Well done.

Thanks Norman. Added your email address. I need to put a guestbook and other things in and just tidy it up. If you can point me in the right direction for the theme song. It would help.

Will do some more work on it on my return next week.

You may get it from amazon or there is a excellent old record shop in Canterbury high street!

Dont forget to see action from Norwich, Days Gone By Vol.8 has 30 mins on it

Tweaked a bit more with guestbook (would someone like to sign?) etc but still searching for the Old Comrades Song.

Is it a millitary march?

(Freddie Williams wants to be involved with the Wembley one. When is the book due out Norman?)

Hi Jim

yes, Old Comrades is a Millitary march, I've just looked through my old records of marches but no luck I'm afraid, can't remember the name of the composer, if my old Dad was alive he would have known, being an army bandsman.

If I can locate anything I'll let you know.

It's probably by Kenneth Alford. He wrote every British march going!

I don't want to confuse things but there is also an Old Comrades March by Teike. It's on CD1 (Uplifting Classics) of Your Hundred Best Tunes CD set from the BBC.

Being too young to have attended the Firs I've no idea if it's the right one or not tho.

You're right Star Lady. It is by Carl Teike.

Sorry to mislead you, Jim, with my guess at Alford.
