Was it James Moore or James Moor?

I have a speedway star article on him and it states his name is

James Timu-te-kere-Herini Moor :D

Also have an article on Mitch Shirra before he came over stating he was the son of a former Glasgow rider.Looked in the British League book and can't find anyone called Shirra only a Shearer. But Mitch's father is called Tommy and the other guy isn't so bit of a mystery and anyway was Shirra's father a Scot,Australian or New Zealander if he did ride here?

Cliff Watson was a New Zealander. Born in Christchurch. However he had his first rides at Sydney and rode for Australia in Test matches...He was a bit like Ronnie Moore in reverse!

Dick Campbell ???

Why have you got ??? after Dick Campbell - he was definitely a Kiwi - unlike Jimmy Tannock and Doug Templeton who were both Scottish.

Two more Kiwis:

Wasn't Roy Trigg - like Bob Andrews - a Londoner before becoming a kiwi?

Yes. He spent his racing career in Britain as British before moving to New Zealand.

The big difference, I think you'll find, is that Roy remained English UNTIL he moved to New Zealand (quitting the British scene), whereas Bob had represented New Zealand for several years while still racing in the UK. Therefore, I don't think that Roy could be classed as a New Zealander racing in Britain. The same could be same of Tommy Sweetman, assuming he did become a naturalized New Zealander...
