Newcastle Individual Meeting

Recommended Posts

Another great performance by Kenni who appears to get better week by week (when he is not riding like a women  ). Very impressed by John Branney and I think he would make a god addition to the Diamonds next year. Good to see Craig Branney back on a bike and he rode well and did well to pick himself up from his fall.

Format of this meeting annoyed me and think it should have been 16 riders and then this would have meant that some riders did not have to face each other 3 times (Proctor and Larsen, Hart and Sanchez). Hopefully the next individual will have a better lineup and a better format.

Still a good meeting nd as mentioned another good performance by Larsen (Get him signed for next year) and another good performance by Proctor.

Don't think Pepe and Christian have do enough to hold onto team places for next year?

Funny how Pepe always does well in matches were averages don't count.

How right you are there it was almost like the old Pepe also Note before anyone says anything accusing me of not giving praise to Mr Henry he also rode a few races well but sadly though once again was beaten by John Branny who was brill IMHO

due to the track blade going missing the track was obv a bit of a mess judging by the riders flying all over the place in some heats.

i think it was a decent meeting given the circumstances and no prima donnas in the line up.

well done to pepcoracing on his win.

henry, larsen, john branney deserve honourable mentions, it has became apparent that without john branney in diamonds colours 2009 that the sun will not shine brightly upon beautiful brough.

So are all the others dropping there averages to? As none of our riders are setting the league alight

Yes I think our team are nice and dropping points to help the promotion out through the credit crunch.

the riders dont need to earn points money as they are all rich beyond their wildest dreams.

Well done Johnny B. :approve: Also good to see Craig among the points. John showing a lot of potential now, it will be an interesting winter to see who will get in the Comets side for 2009.

Oh dear someone must have a different opinion to Gaz.Cant have that now can we?

People can say what they want, Pepe is 2nd in averages behind Jason just, and as soon as he has a poor meeting or whatever he is trying to drop his average to move to another club.

Does that mean Henry and Stoddart were trying to drop their averages at Rye? No it doesn't, our riders are just having a poor season and even Jason's performances has dropped in the last couple of weeks.

My point is that you are very quick to criticise certain riders and indeed the promotion but always stick by your favorites, not very impartial.

An end of season feel about last night, although the racing improved as the night went on.

All the visitors had their moments and gave it a good go. Pepe was the best rider on the night though

and deserved his win. After a sticky start Kenni Larsen came good and looked really good in the race off with Ty Proctor.

It seemed as if Pepe was hinting he may be going Elite next year, saying he would like to double-up next year if it was possible.
