Nothing seems to have been said about this meeting yet. Anybody got any idea who will be riding (apart from the Diamonds)? There was talk of a couple of Elite League riders riding and another young Dane which would be good.

 

Hope this is a proper 16 rider, 20 heat format and not the format that was used the last time. Also hope we see some different riders and not the usual Scunthorpe, Redcar etc riders that we've seen 4 or 5 times already.

I know that one German rider can't now come but I understood that another, who couldn't come over for the rest of the season in August, was going to make an appearance in the Open. If he does appear, he is quite useful and could be considered for 2009.

Apols for no names but these days, with the 'big 3' hoovering up the market, good riders' names don't get bandied about.

I hope fans understand.
