I'm so happy for Nikki. I wanted the guy to win if Tony or Leigh couldn't because the guy's attitude is spot on. Its always nice to see a rider smile and stick his tongue out when he's just had a nasty crash rather than go and sulk as Grumpy has done in the GP previously this year.

 

Talk about unexpected at the beginning of the year, but Fair play to him!

i'm a massive pedersen fan and i'd bet a million mr wagstaff is feeling a bit :oops: :oops: :oops: .

 

i'm also starting to believe that mr crump is a bottler. 3 years in a row at being 2nd, certainly making me wonder wether he'll ever do it. in my opinion he needs to win it a couple of gp's before the last, that will take the pressure off him.

No matter what your opinions of Nicki Pedersen are, I don't think anyone can deny he deserved it after his performance tonight. I was so impressed with how he kept his cool during both an eliminator and finding himself at the back in his semi.

To become World Champion is a tremendous achievement. Congratulations Nicki.
