Line Up Wm-qualification Round 1 Fjelsted/dk 12.06.2010

Recommended Posts

Think theres another Brit riding in Same meeting as Richardson but who i have no idea.

Just checked, and yes ACU have 2 riders for Terenzano, riding numbers 9 & 11.

5 rounds x 9 would be correct, going into 3 semis of 16 = 45 riders + a local nomination per semi.

That's how I thought the numbers would work when tomazpozrl posted (and thanks to all for the info, by the way).

So from the semis presumably it's five apiece to the final and, what, highest-scoring sixth-placed rider? Home nomination?

The Fjelsted qualifier looks to be the most competetive round, but if you can't get into the top NINE then do you really belong in the Grand Prix series ?

I guess that's a fair comment, but it DOES seem ridiculous that the Fjelsted round is so tough while, for example, the Terenzano round has so many complete "no hopers" in it.

With all due respect to the Argentinians, they aren't in the same class just now yet all of their riders are in a round that also has all the Italians (again, no disrespect, but since Alfonso quit they have had nothing worthy) as well as the only Frenchman and Austrian in the qualifiers, not to mention 2 Brits, 2 Germans....

Terenzano has 3 riders from top level speedway nations, and 2 of them are Aussies who would be lucky to get into the Aussie SWC team and the other surely has no hope of getting into the Polish SWC team....it is a pathetically weak round....How do they decide which nation is represented in each round?

To be dismissive of other nations riders is deluded.

This season, Woffinden in the Swedish leauge has scored 5 points from 10 rides in three meetings. The only opposition rider he has beaten is Linus Sundström.

With form like that the Danish round looks the easiest
