I have just checked both the sky tv guide and the website for sky mobile and neither of them even mention the gp on the red button tonight, sky sports 4 says press red button for the BMW championship and the Currie cup rugby, the other sky sports channels do not mention the red button.

What is going on?

Dave you are a legend.

Its true. Modest too.

How many of the posts in this thread actually is about the round in Vojens? Rename it to the "Sky red button with hints of Nordic Grand Prix" thread. Seriously, why isn't there an own thread about this topic?

Its the BRITISH Speedway Forum, Mothorsun - these Poms have gotta whinge about something, and they don't care where they do it, either. If you think this one's bad you should read some of the Elite League threads.

Should be a great meeting anyhow, whether its tonight or tomorrow morning. Go OZ!

Hehe, I get the point. I enjoy this forum, 'cause it's alive and breathing, as opposed to others I've tried. Oh, and my former stepdad is from Huddersfield, and that's got to count for something?

Usual in Vojens then although....

weathercheck says saturday afternoon/cloudy with sun with chance of showers and saturday evening/cloudy and clear skies with SLIGHT chance of showers.

Hope this meeting goes ahead with great racing and preferably a BRIT win!! Don't think i could stand another rescheduled meeting although that may please a few on forum and maybe then not on red button.

A recently updated weather station forecast for Vojens is to be had at Wunderground Weather Stations VOJENS, DENMARK

The three webcam images on the page (next to the radar tab) look bleak right now. However, a nearer webcam looks far milder right now Nearby Webcam

Am sat in hotel room in Kolding and it is dry and sunny at the moment, the rain we had this morning was light and would not do any harm to the track

Goodonya, Hunn! That should ensure a couple of pages worth of posts whingeing about SKY.

Personally I think all the GPs should be run at 11:00 am GMT so's I don't have to get up in the middle of the night to watch it!

Go OZ!

And for those of us who pay £40 a month to Sky just to watch the speedway it's a justified whinge!

I'm not around for the start of the meeting so was going to Sky+ it and start watching it when I got back home about 8pm. Not able to do that now, and no point watching it live as the meeting will be two thirds over by that time. Feel even more sorry for the Virgin viewers who don't have the option of watching it live on the red button at all!

And no, I shouldn't "just be grateful" that speedway is shown on Sky at all, it's not as though they are doing me a favour showing it, I pay a premium for the privaledge!!! Getting more & more p!ssed off with the way Sky is dealing with what is supposed to be Speedway's showcase event, I thought it was one of their more popular sports they showed!

Since Reading closed, I've been losing more & more interest in speedway, the weekly EL meetings are generally less entertaining than some of the Poole fan's attempts at humour on this forum, it's only been the SWC and GP's that have really kept any interest alive for me, and now Sky are starting to screw about with them. I could quite easily stick to BSB, WSB and Moto GP on Eurosport and save on the Sky sports subscription each season, and that's looking more and more of a possibility next year.
