Conkers 67 Posted March 30, 2011 (edited) I have just received some terrible news from Jacqueline in Sweden. Peter Koij was riding in an International Open Meeting in Västerås, Sweden tonight. He fell in his opening ride, and suffered serious injury. It was just announced that Peter has died through heavy blood loss. I will post more information as I get it, unless our Swedeish friends can help? I interviewed Peter in Assen, and what a really nice bloke he was. He will be sadly missed. RIP Peter EDIT According to aktuellspeedway.se Peter suffered a puncture and fell hitting the crash wall. He was unconcious and bleeding heavily, passing away en-route to Hospital in the ambulance. tarabanko 5 Posted March 30, 2011 In the middle of the pits turn Peters bike just went straight and slammed hard into the fence. I was in the referee box and it seemed as Peter got a front wheel puncture and it just carried straight into the fence hard. Shocked   Vila i frid Peter Koij
