World Under 21 Team Qualifier

Recommended Posts

Very good win for Sweden. And the way it is going in Diedenbergen Poland might not make it through.Doesn't look like there is a Loktaev among the German or Finnish riders who will take some points off the top two teams. So it will all be down to not getting excluded ect. Will be very close by the looks of it

Very good win for Sweden

Maybe I missed it over the winter, but does anyone know why GB didn't appear this year. I know we were bad at Rye House in last year's final as I was there in person but that should not deter us from trying to qualify surely. Any thoughts/comments/facts anyone?

Good win for Australia + Denmark look to have done it despite making hard work of it after a surprise last place for Mikkel B there. All kids i have seen since they were about 13 or so.Saying that Ward,Masters and Sedgmen all made their European debuts on 80cc in Denmark i think. Also nasty crash for Siltaniemi and he has been taken to hospital.Sure f-s-p will update us on how he is.Hope just a precaution

That makes more sense. :approve: I said it was a surprise last place.Good performance from the guys. And must have done Michael Palm Tofts chances of a place in the PL a lot of good if any promoters look at the scores

Kirill Tsukanov slightly different result - the Polish-liner, he was mistaken.

Heat 11: Tsukanov - 0.

Heat 15, race when he started in place of Ogorodnik: Tsukanov - 1.

The overall result:

Tsukanov (0, f/ex, 0, 1, 2, ) = 3.

Niko was taken to hospital and I got a call from Palomäki leaving the hospital around midnight and he said he has a fracture in his back but everything is working.

Finnish quotes from the official press release of the meeting:

Palomäki: Track was awful, slick and bumpy

Timo Lahti: Shocking track conditions, slippery and full of holes with riders bouncing to directions not intended.

Sounds promising for Niko.Hope all goes well.Track sounds bad though.Never been there to know if it is always like that, but it does sound par for the course with German tracks.Güstrow being the exception(although i have heard good things about Teterow lately)in the North.

If an official reason was given then I must have missed it. Can't think of a logical reason why Britain wouldn't enter a team, I suspect money would be the root cause and a lack of collective will to look to the future.
