Mr Snackette 190 Posted January 7, 2012 (edited) Let's not forget Young Poole. An excellent nine point haul, and a highly creditable seventh place overall in the meeting. As others have commented, it is far too easy to read too much into a few Aussie results, but none the less it augers well for the season ahead. Baldyman 6,243 Posted January 7, 2012 What it does do though is build the lads confidence more and more, which can only be a good thing. And if he starts well, we could see morten or north at reserve during the season.

whowasthatberntpersson 108 Posted January 8, 2012 As a neutral I can tell you from my observations that both Tungate and Poole are riding very well at the moment. Not much to choose between the two of them but my opinion is that Tungate will be a superb reserve, and could well be pushing for an heat leader spot very quickly. Paulco 7,080 Posted January 8, 2012 Going by results in Australia , Ipswich seem to have acquired the 2012 version of Nick Morris . If he can translate his Australian scores into PL scoring , then Ipswich will be very difficult to stop .

Arch Stanton 2,255 Posted January 8, 2012 (edited) Tungate getting all the attention at the moment, which is good news for Cameron Heeps. Hopefully Tungate performs as hoped as that will ease the pressure on Heeps and he can develop at his on pace and flourish too. What a reserve pairing though. Exciting times. Rohan is 21 and a six-time Australian Motocross champion, who started Speedway only two years ago, whereas Nick came up through the junior Speedway system. I think you mean Dirt Track champion Big Fella, although prior to the speedway comeback he was doing road racing. It hasn't been mentioned much but I do believe he was also a pretty decent junior speedway rider at one stage.

Yes, he's gone full circle and returned to the fold. Now if only Arthur Sissis, Casey Stoner and Josh Waters would follow suit - we'd rule the World!
