It has now been confirmed on the Lynn website. Also they have opened discussions with another rider and hope to announce something soon. With a busy week coming up we need a rider in as R/R won't be adequate enough to cover with only Worrall and the 2 reserves being able to take Alden's rides

Alden Quits British Speedway Details Category: King's Lynn Stars Published on Friday, 19 July 2013 10:35

The King’s Lynn ‘Roger Warnes Transport’ Stars have been hit with the news that Seb Alden has decided to quit British Speedway with immediate effect.

Alden, who joined the club over the winter and was a key rider in the early stages of the season, has taken the decision to leave for personal reasons.

Stars team manager Rob Lyon said: “Its a real shame that Seb has decided not to ride again in the UK this season for the Stars or Plymouth, but we have to respect his decision and move on.

“We have opened discussions with another rider and hopefully we will be in a position to announce something very soon.”

I really can't think of anyone good enough to come in on a just under 6 average. We could be in an even bigger muddle now

With our play-off chances all but over, I doubt Buster and Rob will be breaking the bank to bring in any 'big' names like ex-GP rider Ljung.

Probably be Nermark IMO.

Rather we bring in Lewis Kerr and give him some EL experience to be honest in preparation for next season.
