ciderman 100 Posted September 20, 2012 (edited) The Rules: Taken of BSPA Site. - The play-offs are split into two groups of three teams. Teams finishing 1st and 2nd after the initial 24 meetings get to choose the two teams they wish to have in their play-off group. A total of a further 4 meetings are then raced in each group (2 home, 2 away). The winner of each group then race off over two legs in the Grand Final. Winners of the Grand Final are crowned Premier League Championship. Am I being thick here!! read the above, should that not read 6 meetings?? So lets say Newcastle pick Workington & Edinburgh My thoughts are it would be. Newcastle V Edingburgh Newcastle V Workington Edinburgh v Newcastle Workington v Newcastle Edinburgh v Workington Workington v Edinburgh Answers, thoughts!!! montie 1,273 Posted September 20, 2012 Surely Newcastle will pick Edinburgh first wont they after thumping them last weekend,Edinburgh will bring alot of fans with them down to Brough park im sure that will help the finances
racers and royals 8,774 Posted September 20, 2012 Thinking about it the statement about the teams finishing 1st and 2nd get to chose the 2 teams they wish to have in their play-off group isn`t strictly true.Because team finishing top picks a team team finishing 2nd picks a team team finishing top picks a team team finishing 2nd has what`s left. Got you thinking lol, Or do the team finishing top, pick the two teams they want in their group first, leaving second with whats left in the case above Scunthorpe v Leicester & Somerset?? lucifer sam 3,960 Posted September 20, 2012 Difficult to discuss this one yet, as Newcastle, Scunthorpe and Leicester still have a chance of topping the table. All the best Rob

Tsunami 10,219 Posted September 20, 2012 What if top pick 2nd? Cancel all the other meetings and just have a 30 heat oneoff final. Job done and no fixtures problems.
