BritPete 625 Posted July 14, 2013 No Gollob now, but they don't really need him. That's a spanner in the works! Do you know who his replacement is?

mrlincolncity 126 Posted July 14, 2013 Morning people, bit of help needed please, im possibly simple and/or blind, but im on virgin media, just looked through the planner to set my record of todays SWC meeting, having read through this thread, but my planner has it down as starting at 1530 and finishing at 1600! Then the volleyball is on. Could it be just a little late on virgins part for reorganising the schedule or am i looking at 30 minutes of coverage?

mrlincolncity 126 Posted July 14, 2013 Just looked on t'internet at eurosports plan of action for today and thats saying 1530 to 1800 live WC speedway, then the volleyball is live from 1800 to 1900! Looks like virgin are messin me about!! Sky Guide still has the same as it did yesterday it's scheduled between 3:30pm and 6pm. Yes, but im not on sky Paul, im on virgin. And they do have a habit of being a little slow on the uptake!
longlivefrankie 458 Posted July 14, 2013 unfortunately all the sports on live are much bigger sports than speedway, when you lose your team as i have again and see speedway from the outside you realise that it has a very small presence i'm just glad eurosport are covering and i for one like eurosport coverage of motorsports

Awww i want to see it live pretty much all forecasts have no rain now and the sun out too. A picture of the track this morning from Sportowefakty I'm recording it too so it looks as though it's volleyball and swimming as well to make sure I get something. And I do appreciate Eurosport taking up the coverage. It's no different to Sky except for guy whose job it is to host it. He went from excited and new to the sport at the British GP and saved by Sophie and Scott then lost his way in the next not knowing one rider from another. Bet the guy's having kittens at the minute
Daniel Smith 5,666 Posted July 14, 2013 Eurosport coverage of speedway is in no way, shape or form better than SKY Nope, you're right because the coverage is exactly the same & I mean exactly. Sky showed so much commitment to Speedway they didn't even show 1 of the Play-Off semi finals last season. Sky put quite a few of their GP's on the red button which many thousand's couldn't view. Sky was in no way better or worse. Schedule's are what they are & with Speedway being a minority / specialist sport we have to accept everything we can get. We have no right to demands right now. PHILIPRISING 7,298 Posted July 14, 2013 APPARENTLY Gollob sustained a back injury while riding his motocross bike last week. The Czestochowa promoter must be pulling his hair out. One minute he has a GP-like line-up with Holder and Ward, Sayfutdinov and the Laguta brothers, Gollob, etc and now they are all missing. Stadium looks nice but my spies (Tatum and Pearson) tell me that the town is a throw back to the old days in Poland and makes Gorzow look salubrious. This morning the famous church bells in the town (almost outside their bedroom windows) were in full chime at 5am. They were provided with a car for their use but with no diesel (had to find someone to go and get some!), it has done over 200,000 ks and this morning the battery was as flat as the proverbial... They have just hailed a cab to get to the stadium!

mothorsen 39 Posted July 14, 2013 Anywhere for a slightly desperate norwegian fella to watch this meeting? Stream or pay-per-view or anything? Viasat Motor has't put up anything on their program after yesterdays cancellation, and now I'm starting to sweat a little...
