Jog on. I don't agree with your argument but I agree with your point about averages. Not the issue here. It will all come out in the wash. The referee has made a massive call here. Match changing. I would suggest in due course if it is found barker is equally culpable, then his points could be expunged from the meeting. I know nothing, but the referee needs to stand by the call he made, otherwise he has ruined a great cup tie. tone deaf 51 Posted July 25, 2013 (edited) Congratulations to the Witches & if Cook's performance in Heat 1 was anything to go by then he wouldn't have made much difference anyway! As for his actions after Heat 1, there is no excuse & he got what he deserved. I was a fan of Cook's but his spiteful & childish comments after being rightly dropped by Middlo & now this incident have changed my opinion. Those Monarchs fans surrounding Barker's van should maybe take it out on the rider who did the most to lose them the meeting! Well done to Tungate for a great maximum & also Ellis who had 3 good wins. So fast when in front, just needs to build his confidence up for those heats when he doesn't gate.
