Berwick 2014?

Hopefully in 2014 we can make Shielfield a bit more of a fortress.

All you would need is seven fast starters to do that. Most races over by bend two lap one. And your team manager kept saying all last season when getting beat at home "we are just not making starts"

Just out of interest, anyone know how much we paid Swindon for Seb?

Yep, John Anderson and Gary Patchett do. Reputedly, much less than expected, as long as Gary got it in cash.........

Lots of decent riders already signed up for teams had a bit look around and came up with this

1 S Alden 7.37, 2 M Kus 6.19, 3 C Vissing 6.89, 4 D Bellego 6.36, 5 M Wethers 6.79, 6 H Skidmore 5.65, 7 L Carr 3.00 Total 42.25

Skidmore will be at Redcar.

if its a fast starter you need look no further than nemo or karlsson more so karlsson who has to be one of the quickest out of the starts in the premier league they both dont seem to be in any teams as yet.

That's a brilliant looking team. Take out Skidmore and put in someone of a similar average (Tero?), and we are solid.

I think that the Berwick promotion would look at someone like Kevin Doolan rather than Karlsson or Niemenen.Must admit, with the other teams filling up,it does appear that we are lagging behind somewhat.Hopefully it will all come together in the end.

Think Hugh Skidmore is more than likely to be at Redcar again next season.

Only Doolan.

Kauko and Karlsson will be based overseas, and if Berwick are going to re-sign their asset Seb Alden, one of those is enough.

There is one thing for sure Berwick need to track a competitive team this year from the word go they need to be aiming for the top six and they need to be pushing Newcastle, Edinburgh and Workington as that is where the crowds will come from.

Agree with you,I posted a while back that the pressures on the promotion to come up with the goods after a few seasons now of lowly finishes. They mustve learned by now whats required to put a good team together, and learned how other promotions go about putting successful teams together, and making contacts along the way to attract riders from here and overseas.
