Woz01 3,589 Posted December 15, 2013 The thing with Kennett is he always seems to start the season off well but the declines as the season goes on. Not to bad for Brum if he will be a 2nd string.
spin king 1,927 Posted December 15, 2013 Sundstrom and Covatti won't fit as combined averages 0.04 too high! Yes your right back to the drawing board.
naffer 442 Posted December 15, 2013 Drill bit kennett back in the midlands oh dear another season when he will fades as it goes on.
Steve Shovlar 10,451 Posted December 15, 2013 So its Kennett then, very disappointed. Nothing wrong with Eddie. Had a mixed year in 2013 but has room for improvement on his starting average. At least you are still running after last seasons losses.
Skidder1 7,662 Posted December 15, 2013 Eddie will be fine as long as someone keeps reminding him its 2 wheels and not 4!!!
Steve0 5,517 Posted December 15, 2013 Nothing wrong with Eddie. Had a mixed year in 2013 but has room for improvement on his starting average. At least you are still running after last seasons losses. Why don't you have him in the Poole team then if there's nothing wrong with him?
Steve Shovlar 10,451 Posted December 15, 2013 Why don't you have him in the Poole team then if there's nothing wrong with him?I don't pick the team but as a second string he would be a decent signing. Did OK for Swindon in the first leg of the playoffs and was in the worst possible heat 14 in the second leg. You can blame that in Hans and batch's mouth for saying it was all over after the first leg.
stevebrum 6,834 Posted December 15, 2013 I can see why Brummies fans will be underwhelmed by the Kennett signing. On the plus side at least he isn't at Wolves ;-) Brummies look to be going down a similar route to Eastbourne team building wise. If its any consolation seeing that some are already putting the team in the basement - so were Wolves last year!! I don't pick the team but as a second string he would be a decent signing. Did OK for Swindon in the first leg of the playoffs and was in the worst possible heat 14 in the second leg. You can blame that in Hans and batch's mouth for saying it was all over after the first leg. And Eddie bears no responsibility for doing his job either?? On his average he should be more than capable of going out and winning most Heat 14`s but the proof is he isn't good under pressure.

Gemini 4,894 Posted December 15, 2013 Only worrying thing to me is having four riders that are riding in other leagues but overall this would be a hard team to beat and Coventry can yet again count on a nice set of loan fees for the season. How do these loan thingys work? Are they paid in advance for the season or before/after each match?
Dornier 804 Posted December 15, 2013 Kennett will do ok at Brum, chances are that Drury will know what makes him tick....Kennetts good at looking as though he`s going to pass but never does....

david2905 230 Posted December 15, 2013 (edited) Nothing wrong with Eddie. Had a mixed year in 2013 but has room for improvement on his starting average. At least you are still running after last seasons losses. Might not be in 12 months if a mediocre looking side has a mediocre season to match, Brum need more fans than just the hardcore to survive, many of the "maybe" crowd will be swayed by the team performance.
