Villain 94 Posted April 17, 2014 (edited) Where's UK Martin when you need him? I think he's competing in the Tour de France. Edited April 17, 2014 by crazy jack
Skidder1 7,637 Posted April 17, 2014 Has it been figured out if the loss of Drury has any impact on continuing with just 1 promoter. I thought Mr Phillips junior is now co-promoter!!
uk_martin 1,606 Posted April 17, 2014 Where's UK Martin when you need him? Still alive...and no that forum is nothing to do with me.
Deano 1,318 Posted April 17, 2014 It needs Tony Horse to ride into town on his white mole and save the day. Everywhere Mole goes, Drury follows. Makes you think perhaps Tony is up to something ... somewhere..... but not Birmingham.
the hobbit 153 Posted April 17, 2014 (edited) Gd has always worked well with Tony Mole. Wouldn't be surprised to see Phil Morris work with them. Edited April 17, 2014 by Bilbo Baggins
david2905 230 Posted April 17, 2014 Any idea what's going on with the Brummie forum, is it just unfortunate timings for issues or something more sinister.
Deano 1,318 Posted April 17, 2014 It's run independently and is funded by Chris B and a few volunteers, it'll be pure coincidence. Nothing sinister at all.
Gresham78 215 Posted April 18, 2014 I don't know much about Graham Drury other than what's been said on this forum but losing somebody of his experience would be a bitter blow for any club let alone one in the Brummie's predicament. At the moment the team look likely candidates for the wooden spoon this season and are left with an inexperienced owner at the helm. I speak as a speedway fan and I'm always concerned when a team runs into trouble. Given the great effort made by individuals in bringing the sport back to the city and the success of last year its very sad to see the club in this situation. Good luck Brummies and to Alan Phillips - hope things pick up for you this year and that you're around for next season and many more in the future.

LagutaRacingFan 1,936 Posted April 18, 2014 (edited) So many good riders like Sundstrom, Larsen and Jepsen Jensen without UK clubs but Birmingham persist with the riders they have. I'm beginning to lose sympathy for their predicament. Edited April 18, 2014 by KingKennyBjerre

LagutaRacingFan 1,936 Posted April 18, 2014 Why don't you empty your piggy bank and help them to pay for it! Where's the money from last year's semi and final gone? Why run in the EL if your going to put out a PL side?

stevebrum 6,824 Posted April 18, 2014 Tell me, is that a new alias, or have you remembered your old password ?. Its a rehashed one, probably KingKennethSpeed because it still shows up as `ignore` on my page. Same nonsense tho.
