Lions On Sky

Recommended Posts

If the racing is that bad or even non-existent I wonder if Sky's gruesome twosome will have the gonads to say anything??!!

Of course they won't Skidder cos it's the best track in the country and when we get a new stand it will host the British Grand prix.

It's that good !! Well the burger van is?

I almost wish I'd renewed the Sky Sports contract now.

Looks like I'm really going to be missing something.

In all likelihood any passing.

. Good job we had the good gp last night to watch and hopefully a good Swedish match on Tues to make up for the crap what will be on offer Monday that's for sure. Nice stadium just bad shape and track prep.........

I agree with most of your post but think you are being unfair regarding track prep there is not much wrong with the prep .Glyn Taylor is a very good trackman with years of doing the job but if the shape and then alterations were done without any input from him he can only produce a safe surface to race on . I think he has done so since the track opened and as the job is an art I think he has took a lot of flak for things which he has no control over.

I bet everyone at BP are getting excited with the prospect of the cameras coming on Monday night,Mrs Helmsley has bought a new frock,Chris Popple a new hair piece and Mr Helmsley has slapped on a new bottle of fake tan and had his teeth whitened in anticipation of a Chris Louis interview.

Let's hope the racing is as good as the hype!

Sky must have a roving reporter then because I understand Chris Popple is on a family holiday in Tenby.

I think you will be Gemini

Speedway on 1,Bowls on 2, Fishing on 3 and Golf on 4

Properly spoilt for choice on the excitement stakes I reckon

Ooh I cant wait

My last hope is Bet365, but it will probably be Wolves again.

Bet365 won't show a meeting that's on sky it'll most certainly be Wolves vs Belle Vue on Bet365

It's a shame Chris Louis is usually diplomatic and doesn't (or isn't allowed to) upset anyone with his questions. He'd be the perfect bloke to grill DH about the track, as he speaks from experience. As the bikes became more powerful, and the air fence was installed, racing at Foxhall was awful. I stopped going and was watching more meetings in Poland and Sweden each season than my local track. But thankfully he invested heavily on changing the shape, and now I go every week.

Come on Nigel, Kelvin and Chris, do the good folk of Leicester a favour tonight, and tell it like it is.

As there is no Leicester v Eastbourne thread I am going to predict on here that Lewis Blackbird will have 7 rides tonight and score a third of Eastbourne's points.
