According to the current rulebook every FMN can propose wild cards until four weeks before the GP. After that the final decision will be made by the sgp commission.

So warsaw GP is five months away.

Flight (£66) and hotel (within walking distance of the stadium) booked.

I suppose they've kept the ticket prices down to encourage fans to travel. Take out the VIP thing, cant recall getting best seats at a GP for about £20 for a long time. Don't usually bother with the first year at a new venue, but just got to see Tomasz's farewell.

Gollob has been a fantastic GP rider, but on current form, or at least form from last season, does he actually deserve a wild card pick.

Shaggie, regarding the airports. Okecie is the biggest and the primary airport serving Warzaw while the other is mostly used by Ryanair.

Okecie is the closet to the city centre while Modlin is about 3 times as far away.

So it sort of depends on what airline you want to go with, BA, LOT (Both fly from LHR) and Wizz Air (flies from Luton) flies to Okecie.

Is Okecie known as Chopin?

Yes that is correct.

Thanks. I'm already flying in to Modlin, I just was curious as didn't see that name when looking for flights.

Modlin is the best bet. When you get there walk outside and get the small local bus, this takes you to the small Railway station, then this line goes to the stadium, last time I was there it didn't stop at the stadium, that station (it appeared) is only used on event days.

That info comes from my memory bank, so hopefully It's correct.

The Ryanair flight from Stansted is currently £72, out early Saturday, back late Sunday.
