R87 476 Posted July 31, 2014 (edited) Aussies probably deserve to go through overall, but Swedes were deflated after that moment of idiocy from Lawrence Edited July 31, 2014 by mb1990
Ghostwalker 1,859 Posted July 31, 2014 looked like nillson was in front to me. the czech lad only had to shut off Where do you draw the limit (distance between fore most point of front wheel) between being in front and not being in front? 1cm? 10cm? 100cm? rob240866 58 Posted July 31, 2014 Where do you draw the limit (distance between fore most point of front wheel) between being in front and not being in front? 1cm? 10cm? 100cm? in front means in front, he was about 3 quarters of a bike in front.. most sensible riders would have eased off the throttle.. poor refereeing and set it up for the aussies.... well done greg hancock. what a rider

pandorum 1,259 Posted July 31, 2014 Great meeting. Silly referee but did not make a difference in the end as Aussies won it fair and square. The final will be awesome. Will done OZ.
racers and royals 8,763 Posted July 31, 2014 Please tell me we have a Swedish ref on Saturday. Wait for it-Jim Lawrence.
brandonbee48 1,194 Posted July 31, 2014 Contentious decisions aside, an absolutely fabulous evening of racing. By far the best of the three meetings. Bydgoszcz is a great race track. Such a shame it has declined as a speedway loving venue. Saturday should be very special. Join you all then. Alan.

g13webb 4,254 Posted July 31, 2014 (edited) An unbelievable low crowd to witness a brilliant meeting. Probably the best race track in the world. And what was being said about circular tracks. The racing to-night was top drawer. We should be able to learn from this , Everyone should learn from this. fantastic meeting.......... Aaron Reuben Smith 37 Posted July 31, 2014 It's probably already been said but well done team Hancock! Fantastic racing tonight
YerRopes 3,009 Posted July 31, 2014 Why not just do away with the clearly unpopular race-off and go straight to the final after two qualifiers (two sides from each 'semi' qualify). Thus making the semi finals more cut throat. If the organisers are concerned about the home side not reaching the final, give them the 'easier' Semi... JT. Agree with that JT.. That would make everything all too simple though...
