Lioness 1,478 Posted March 3, 2015 again young Ward seems to be forgetting that he ADMITTED that he had drunk to excess the night before when interviewed. Its like a wee kid trying to change the story to suit their ends - only thing is his admission was broadcast for millions to hear - well thousands anyway! Leg, to, stand-on, not a
theknow 2 180 Posted March 3, 2015 Good for his legal team, get a bit more out of him. If the boy had any sense he would leave it alone and move on right or wrong. But he wont and he will not learn from this latest episode either.
John Leslie 3,213 Posted March 3, 2015 again young Ward seems to be forgetting that he ADMITTED that he had drunk to excess the night before when interviewed. You can't use that admission against him because he didn't know what he was saying, because he was drunk.
TheReturn 1,724 Posted March 3, 2015 The breath test was taken more than once I am told and DW spent 2 hours trying to pass it which involved drinking large amounts of water and even eating a raw onion in an attempt to pass it. Failed again. Blimey, he must have had more than just a couple the night before then I would assume?

Gavan 5,067 Posted March 3, 2015 im getting a bit bored and fed up with Darcy Ward now. I said it should have been a 12 month ban and it was 10 so thats fair enough. I like most people want to see Darcy Ward back on a bike. Im sure we all hoped he would accept he did wrong and take his punishment and keep his head down for the next 3 months. But no the jumped up twerp starts gobbing off again. He has learnt nothing and still feels he is above the law and the sport. He is now becoming a disgrace to the sport. Lets hope he appeals and fails and gets a bigger ban, because now that is what he deserves. Try to show the fans you have grown up and moved on but the prat instead continues to be an even bigger prat. Quite clearly he is a lost cause and no the sport doesnt need him
John Leslie 3,213 Posted March 3, 2015 ...and even eating a raw onion in an attempt to pass it. Failed again. So in the words of the BSF's very own immortal bard KKS, Darcy really did engage his onions.
customhouseregular 1,651 Posted March 3, 2015 I was bored with the Darcy Ward saga months ago. Did speedway miss him post-suspension? Will this year's GP series suffer without him. Assuming Ward is not picked for the Australian SWC team, will the Aussies get soundly beaten? Answers: No, No and No,
Wackie 938 Posted March 3, 2015 Eating a raw onion. And there we were all thinking that there hadn't been a urine test. if it was actually suggested Ward do this to sober up, somebody took the p1ss!
