Fenway Bleachers 2,665 Posted September 5, 2014 (edited) Just a pity Nico. wasted his Olympic by picking up a point in heat 15, just ONE for the Cornetto..... Pity Stead decided to load his van early Edited September 5, 2014 by Fenway Bleachers

Mr Blobby 2,684 Posted September 5, 2014 must say that was easier than expected thought Sheffield would have been a bit more competitive than that. Covatti looked like he was going to fence himself every lap. Stead had one good ride apart from that he was pants just like the rest of his team. racing was pretty boring tonight though with heat 8 was pretty good. going into bend 3 lap 4 the tigers on a 7-2 then coming across the line on a 4-4 with cracking inside drives coming off the 4th bend by Sedgmen and Fox. Special mention to Captain Deek who showed us what he can really do with a cracking performance. Also to Sam and Cookie on the paid maximums. Hopefully Worrall withdrawing was just a precaution with a crucial away meeting tomorrow.

DavyH 164 Posted September 6, 2014 It's easier to hack into the Pentagon than find updates on Edinburgh home meetings on the Chatzone! Started looking at 7:45 and eventually found them in time to get the Heat 9 result! George, you really need to upgrade your Commodore 64, Spectrum ZX is the bizz these days

Been on ebay and not many ZX's for sales, but the ones that are, are cheap. Must be because everyone has one already. Cheers mate.

spin king 1,923 Posted September 6, 2014 Just a pity Nico. wasted his Olympic by picking up a point in heat 15, just ONE for the Cornetto..... Pity Stead decided to load his van early Simon Stead injured his arm in heat 1 after falling with Super Guest Sedgmen. He was late coming out for heat 1 as he had been receiving treatment for an injured left fore arm. Which was getting worse as the meeting went on hence why he did not ride heat 15.
