Bored of the gaps in fixtures, I would say a large majority of fans still going to leciester would prefer a return to the premier league.

Hopefully the Elite league will do the decent thing and put itself out of its misery this winter and we can have something in its place which is better

Nothing wrong with the EL that the addition of Glasgow, Sheffield and possibly Ipswich wouldn't improve in 2016?!

That would be a start. Would there be enough riders? Things are stretched with 8 teams, and as for the FTR's....????

Would need the PL (or Second division or whatever) to be more dovetailed in many ways

Not enough riders for a Elite league as they would moan they're too many fixtures if you let more teams in.

Actually you could run up to 14 teams in an expanded Elite League without there being an increase in fixtures. This is because currently teams race each other twice home and away and hence more teams can be accommodated by having one meeting home and away.

Makes far more sense to have one home one away. Something has to be done with the top riders asking for stupid money though. One reason why clubs don't want to come up to the Elite League.

Most of the top riders can earn far more abroad than over here, it is also being felt by the Polish and Swedish clubs with so many in financial difficulty.

If the just asked for that bit less then they would be queing up to ride over here, but the promoters did the right thing in the end and said no way. So they all left in droves.

It's hardly a great advert though Skidder when numerous promotions are complaining they can't make money. I agree it's what the EL needs but something had to be done to make the sport viable to promoters/promotions.

More teams can be accommodated, but you will still have the problem of to many gaps between fixtures and this is what many fans get peed off with.Although it would make a change to see different teams rather than the same ones all the while.

What will the 2016 season bring for the Lions, I hope that they manage to stay in the EL and manage to keep the services of Jason Doyle. An awful lot has got to be done during the close season.

1; Get Jason to agree to another year before he goes home,

2; Has I have been saying since the end of last season, Norrie Allen has to go, he has now been team manager for 2 years and failed miserablly, he should call it a day as a team manager and go back to working in the pits. Bring in a decent manager, one who has been working as a speedway manager for years and not just any no hoper just to fill the spot.

3; Not that this will ever happen, DH should try and sell the club to a Russian multi millionair, would would bring in Emil and 1 of the Laguta's if the points allowed them in the team that is, the so said new owner could butter up the council buy the land the stadium stands on and all the land around it, build a good carpark and extend the stadium and change the track, plus build 2 permenant stands and seating on the other straight. New pits with changing rooms and showers, plus a proper veiwing area instead of the awful containers we have now. This is only a dream, but it could happen.

4; Get a team together that will finish top of the league and win the play offs which I personally hate. Have the 4 top teams compete for a trophy, but not to see who wins the league as this has already been achieved over the season.

After so many years away from the sport the Lions deserve better than what, they have had the last 2 years, at times we are running nothing better than a PL side. If they want to keep Jason Doyle for a few more years, then they need to give him a team to work with, no a bunch of rubbish that he has had to back him up, the 2 years. End of my triad of what has gone wrong at BP. Just hope that things turn around next season. Because it has been absolutlly dire this year.

If they want to keep Doyle and have any chance of attracting other GP-standard riders then they need to change their racenight.

As much as Doyley is loyal to DH, he has made no secret of the fact of how difficult it has been to accommodate the fixtures in his schedule.

It might help if they were to buy Jason off Swindon as well which hasn't happened yet.

Seriously look how hard it has been for teams to find enough riders for 8 teams this season & is that really going to change.

Leicester will always struggle being a Saturday track to get riders sadly.

He will more than likely be at Swindon next year

I wonder how difficult it has been for Leicester to fit their fixtures in around Doyles schedule , Tail wagging the dog again
