How wonderful that Rick, Julie and Readypower again ensure the Panthers take to the track. They must be special people - contributing so much and getting so little out of it.

Rick and Julie, huge thanks for looking after the Panthers and saving one of the best race tracks in Britain.

It's not been made clear exactly how much this ReadyPower news has put into the pot. So we're still in the dark about what the situation is and how it's changed since last week.

 

Why can't they just say something like:

 

we needed £40,000 when we had the fans meeting, as at last week were up to £24,000 (or whatever), And now ReadyPower's sponsorship adds another £X, and we are now up to £Y. So we still need £Z

if only it was "mute"..........

 

you meant "moot" surely? :rolleyes:

it's a Panthers thread, so STFU about feckin' Newcastle (and Berwick and Sheffield et al) Oh, and ffs stop bigging yourself up.

ALL riders owed money from last season, has been paid already according to Ged/Trevor at the crisis meeting.

Am I missing something, or will we have money through the turnstiles next year ? If we have got £54k (30k from fans & 24k already covering start up costs) plus Readypower sponsorship, surely the gate receipts should cover the other running costs ?

Surely even if there isnt another penny from the fans the Panthers will run.

The Readypower money must make the difference - unless they werent gonna run if they failed to secure a main sponsor even if the fans got to the £40k.

The sponsorship money will just be the North transfer fee and all the loan fees from Niels, Troy, Hans and Bjerre.

That should come to over 25k

 

40k + 25k = £65k

Should sacrifice a bit of the loan fee for the riders, to use some of the better talents from the clubs that we could use in the Premier League, e.g, Lynn and Coventry

Surely with these riders the likes of Kings Lynn and Coventry should be forced by the Management of the BSPA to pay a transfer fee for these riders. Mind thats a bit like Turkeys voting for Christmas. I dont think Frosty and Julie will be going without Turkey this Christmas if No transfer fee is paid over for any of their assets.

It would be nice to have an update as to where we are, many I am sure are confused having had an additional £24 k thrown into the mix which had not been mentioned previously. I am also confident that if it would save the club most fans would be happy for the supporters club to donate the money being collected for the track grader to the cause.

Another update due early next week. The grader has already been purchased by the supporters club.

 

For those that want to help with smaller amounts might be interested to know that there will be 'brick wall' page in the programme. A brick can contain a personal message or advert and will cost just £10 for the whole season. If anyone is interested in this please contact Alison by emailing pantherspledge2015@gmail.com
