Congratulations Kings Lynn: 2014 Elite League Table Toppers

Recommended Posts

Surely Kings Lynn can sue Poole/Ward for loss of income now? Finished top so should have been first pick for the playoffs so would have probably made the final.

Didn't Poole pick King's Lynn in the semis? So it's actually quite a big deal.

Can hardly sue Poole though. It's wasn't up to them to say Darcy Ward couldn't ride.

A thread just to wind up the POOLE fans. 2014 season is finished with - there is nothing to be gained with ifs, buts and maybes. POOLE won the semis - without Ward and won the final - again without Ward and whatever anyone says, the record books show them as 2014 EL champions.

Who cares who topped the league - it means absolutely nothing!

Time to move along - nothing to see here!

There are no 'ifs buts and maybes'.

Only the facts that the pts from Ward are deducted 'WHATEVER THE RAMIFCATIONS'.

Therefore Poole lost at Leicester.

Therefore Kings Lynn finished top of the League.

Simples.

Yep, agree with Steve0 & Trees. Purely aimed at winding up the Pirates.

Quite frankly, I could give a poop.

Fully focused on the new 2015 season

I think the sensible thing to do is rerun the 2014 play offs.

Don't say that, play off Kenny will have a heart attack ...

Agree...then we can have Niels and Lewis back off the injury bench. :t:

In reality though we can't change last season's results, just need to look forward to 2015

Reality is you can.

Many sports have done so.

Ask Lance Armstrong :)

Thats the thing with Cycling though. They will change results. When someone is caught out cheating (generally taking drugs) their team drops them straight away knowing they'll probably have results removed. But in speedway his team keep him and then the team manager slags off the FIM at every opportunity.

The one is a massive sport thats popular all over the World. The other, well, it's speedway :/

Im sure ward's twitter fans can settle kls claim for him, and ward can reimburse them from the massive settlement they say hes due from suing fim for loss of income. ..
