crescent girl 1,907 Posted April 18, 2015 I`ve thought of nothing else all week, if its posted on here when the comments are favourable then in fairness of balance it should be posted on here each week, you shouldn't pick and choose. Since you ask, and only since you ask, last week's referee (Mick Bates) yet again marked track preparation as "excellent" Three meetings out of three, no need for further reports on reports. End of. cyclone 943 Posted April 18, 2015 Since you replied, and only since you replied, then the referees reports are at odds with the vast majority of Berwick`s regular paying customers. The track did appear to be well prepared last Saturday. I note that several Berwick posters on here are wishing for the rough, unpredictable surface that Waite used to prepare to ensure that visiting teams would be unsettled. Fine for those sitting at their keyboards to demand this but what about the guys (including the home team) who are putting their necks on the line every time they race. Has anyone on here sought the views of their team on whether they are satisfied with how the Berwick track is prepared ? IMO it's the shape and dimensions of the track that make passing very difficult after the bend 2, lap 1 . Nothing can be done about this because Berwick Rangers FC are unlikely to permit any changes that encroach on their pitch. Unless the Bandits move to a new venue, you are stuck with high speed gate & go

Time for the return of the fear factor. and bring back the excitement. Remember we have probably had a lot more accidents since PW departed than before.. and tjhe track supposed to be safer. Shadders 4,135 Posted April 18, 2015 (edited) Hope the Bandits get their PL campaign off with a win. B4E was as miserable as sin last Saturday watching updates while the Rockets were demolishing Plymouth. Edited April 18, 2015 by Shads

B4E was as miserable as sin last Saturday watching updates while the Rockets were demolishing Plymouth.no point being miserable about Berwick at Edinburgh like the tide coming in, the sun setting and rising defeat is certain Since you ask, and only since you ask, last week's referee (Mick Bates) yet again marked track preparation as "excellent" Three meetings out of three, no need for further reports on reports. Would it not be nice, if, the refs report said. The track was prepared to a compliant standard. But the visiting team did not like it. I wonder if thats what it says at Edinburgh or Newcastle.

Unless the Bandits move to a new venue, you are stuck with high speed gate & go Haven't seen anyone asking for a rough, unpredictable track, just a track where both teams can go out and race, not having virtually all racing done and dusted by the exit of bend two lap one. It can be done, the track staff prepared a track where we had excellent meetings last year so it can be done. Edited April 18, 2015 by screm
