Normski 1,316 Posted July 12, 2015 This will sound defeatist but I'll be surprised if we get 30 this afternoon. I reckon this will not be the type of track for Hall, Edberg or Garcia, who will have never seen the place before. Again a lot of pressure heaped onto TJ and the captain. No idea how Rohan tTungate goes around there, but a repeat of last night's performance from him would be welcome.Tungate scored 4 points in March at Rye House think he will do a bit better today.
Shadders 4,136 Posted July 12, 2015 (edited) Any weather updates please? Currently at the National Speedway Museum and now raining. Hoping in to take in today's match on the way homeCloud high with sunny intervals, but no sign of rain. If we do have any it'll probably be a light sprinkling Edited July 12, 2015 by Shads

thrillpool 67 Posted July 12, 2015 Do you still look like the photo in your avatar? That's from a few years ago and unfortunately I've put on a bit of weight since then. It's probably all the fish, chips and mushy peas from the always excellent and reasonably priced Rye House Fish Bar.
Shadders 4,136 Posted July 12, 2015 (edited) Currently raining steadily here and dark overhead. Ten minutes later it's bright and sunny. Welcome to the British summer Edited July 12, 2015 by Shads
thrillpool 67 Posted July 12, 2015 As a fibre glass dinosaur looks down on proceedings, you can't help but chuckle at the irony. Anyway, the Bandits are 'stealing' a march here...12-6 up after 3 heats.

thrillpool 67 Posted July 12, 2015 It's interval time here at the Len Arena, 30-18 to the Bandits and the 80's tunes are thumping out over the tannoy. I'm a bit worried that the old guy at the starting gate isn't here...has he finally spontaneously combusted?
