TheScotsman 2,483 Posted January 21, 2016 absolutely, but as I put, IF he is on good machinery that he is confident in, he'll be top 3 Can't see him being top 3 myself or even that close. All tracks are going to be new to him. Well osterguard must have something about him as he beat all the other No1's to win the PLRC. One meeting. There are 30-40 meetings in the season. Bagpuss 10,784 Posted January 22, 2016 I think if Nik averages 8 he will have had a very good season.
semion 2,192 Posted January 22, 2016 Could go one of 2 ways depending which Porsing turns up. A couple of years back he was beating a lot of the top Elite League Boys around Saddlebow, and I really thought Lynn had a big one in the making with him. Then he went badly of the boil last season. Can see him averaging around 9 at Alwarton, as I think he will love it around there, but maybe only a 7 point average away. I guess most will be new tracks to him. And one for New Era Panther.... I hope you look after Porsing for us better than you did Lambert Space Cadet ? WTF is one of those ?
Baldyman 6,243 Posted January 22, 2016 Looks like a good home team. Looking forward to bank holiday already
Crump99 4,476 Posted January 22, 2016 New sponsor also done! Huge deal which is bigger than Lynn's sponsorship from what I hear. All sounds a bit like record season ticket sales and bigger attendaces. Ged: "It's not what we start the season on, It's what we finish it on" Or the lesson from 2013, if it's not working then change it pdq. I don't think Rathbone will hang about as the Readypower management team always did, although whether he'll have the funds available now to pay over the odds if need be is a different matter. Reviresco 708 Posted January 22, 2016 Well osterguard must have something about him as he beat all the other No1's to win the PLRC. There were quite a few missing No. 1's at the PLRC last season, due to injury (Stead, Bjerre, Auty), Polish commitment (King) and having gone home (Fisher). Looks like a good home team. Looking forward to bank holiday already Hopefully, Oystercard won't stick Nico in the fence like he did at the 4's. Witches can do without him missing that early in the season. Will also be a test of how well Lewi Kerr has mended.
Cupidstunt 92 Posted January 22, 2016 I think if Nik averages 8 he will have had a very good season. IMO I think he will be lucky to achieve an 8 point average this season

Baldyman 6,243 Posted January 22, 2016 I guess this year they thought they would seed the panthers through as last year I think they were the lowest scorers in the qualification rounds
bigcatdiary 3,165 Posted January 23, 2016 I guess this year they thought they would seed the panthers through as last year I think they were the lowest scorers in the qualification rounds I would have thought it was obvious why Panthers are seeded to the final.
