Poole Vs The Aces For The Title

Recommended Posts

Back to tonight. I hear the Poole fans are on their way. The motor bike and side car have left. Ford is riding the bike with Middlo in the side car. Starman was going to ride on the pillion but strangely they set off 15 minutes early and he missed them.

:D :D

Would love a within 8 score line but can't be more than 12 if we are going to do it.

Good luck to both teams.

I think it's that forum members become suspicious when a poster makes unsubstantiated claims about their involvement in the sport. 'Robert72' being an example. A disclosure of the facts stops this happening.

Nothing wrong with my reading. You said "in 1990 taking my first steps in the sport". Infers more than just spectating.

.

The speedway press I was referring to was the Speedway Mail - again as stated by you.

And again, you said "with me being mid 30's" - late 30's then if approaching 40.

Lovely comment about John Louis too........

Still, everyone to their own I guess.

Ahh, you're referring to the post where i made a cheeky remark about John Louis whilst posting to a former editor of the speedway mail on another thread where he was annoyed at not getting any response from Ipswich fans wasn't it ? The post i made to try and stop another listee from being disillusioned with the forum by encouraging him ?

Did you contribute on that ? or were you one of the listees he was taking a swipe at ?

Anyway, can you drop me a line privately if you want to carry on this boring side track about grammar, and i'm also going to be travelling for hours now so wont be able to reply to this thread.

This is a thread about a match anyway, and this is now NOTHING to do with this thread.

Good luck Belle Vue..

Just to add good luck to both teams tonight and this week.

Obviously I am likely to side with the Aces (as my 2nd team) So hopefully it will be a great advert for speedway.

I love the play offs, even tho my beloved Wolves aren't part of them this year.

Should be a cracking evening of speedway and again on wednesday, may the best team win as long as its Poole!!.

What's happened to Drop A Cog with tales of wet pkoc or as it's not likely to rain this week and his team being involved he's keeping quiet.

25 years in ther sport has left you with a network of friends and workmates high high up in the sport. First you come across as a Doctor, when you probably couldn't even Doctor a cat, now your a bleedin promoter. Next you'l be telling us your a TV presenter. What a pile of b-llrubbish you write. Another deluded make up artist. I look forward to meeting you, in your Chris Holder shirt...

damn it you mean to tell me ' The Doctor' isnt a real doctor???

i hate to tell you but im not Lily Savage either!!

Travellodge. I think you might have been scammed. There is of course Travelodge but in fact the closest to the stadium is the Diamond Lodge almost opposite the stadium.

There has been a lot o trepidation amongst Aces fans with regards the inclusion of a Zagar not fully fit. This can be counted though by the inclusion of North for the pirates. Both riders are good for big scores being track specialists but for me the loss of Norths usually high scoring contributions will impact the pirates greater.

The six to eights points his teammates will have to cover will be difficult to do.

Including a lad who's mind will (rightfully) be elsewhere is a big risk by Ford, especially as it's common knowledge the difficulty Dak has had in dealing with things during these trying times.

Whilst not the best way to gain an advantage but I guess at this stage in proceedings you take what's given.

Best of luck to all.

Up The Aces!!

DAC has probably become a sycophant and is too ashamed to admit.

On the plus side, less negativity on the forum.

Come on Belle Vue! Let's go! I think they will need a 12 point lead or so though. Here's hoping!
