Woz01 3,589 Posted February 16, 2016 Not as one of his 1-7 though. He wanted him as a 8th rider who could guest if needed I did say squad. Matt Ford isnt stupid though, he'd have wanted the best option possible if this number 8 option is implemented.
Skidder1 7,658 Posted February 16, 2016 The squad proposal is for an 'untried foreign rider' to be used as cover for any of the 2-5 positions. Kacper Woryna was certainly on Poole's radar as I said at the time Coventry signed him!! The other squad proposal is for each EL club to 'sign' a 2nd Tier 2 reserve to cover for reserve absences' The no 1 heat leader position would still be covered by a guest if required. wealdstone 3,454 Posted February 16, 2016 Despite assurances from the Supremo and an unknown quango, I am not one of the filthy rich pensioners and will not be able to afford to come to Coventry meetings this season.

There's plenty to discuss including; new admission charges, new stadium?, new team and new rules and reg's. Everybody is most welcome at our popular new venue, The Brandon Club, just down the road from the stadium. For directions; http://www.nuneatonspeedwaysupportersclub.co.uk/directions/ There is a small charge for non-members of £3.00. Annual membership (open to everyone) is £10.00 for adults, £5.00 for concessions (children free). Members then only pay £1.00 per event. All money raised is donated to Neil Vatcher and the Young Lions. http://www.nuneatonspeedwaysupportersclub.co.uk
Woz01 3,589 Posted February 18, 2016 Bees v Kings Lynn originally 8th April moved to the 11th, I'm guessing for Sky coverage.
Brandon 134 Posted February 18, 2016 With this new no8 position being introduced and it can be a foreigner. Could Kacsper Woryna be moved to 8 (that's what Ford was going to do with him) and we get another rider in the main team?

Could Kacsper Woryna be moved to 8 (that's what Ford was going to do with him) and we get another rider in the main team? Depends if we can find a rider to replace him. Dont think us having a number 8 is much of an issue as we get priority on King and Garrity anyway. Unless Woryna misses a few for domestic u21 commitments? Unless Woryna misses a few for domestic u21 commitments? Most absences are due to injury not fixture clashes. It would be very optimistic to imagine that they will not crop up at some point during the season, so making provision for a number 8 still seems like a wise precaution. I agree with that to be fair but if there was injuries where they'd miss several matches id suggest clubs would bring in a rider to replace.
