Panthers Vs Monarchs - Semi Final 1st Leg - 4/10/15

Recommended Posts

So it's team Scotland now that they smashed you in the league cup final?

We may well go out & end up trophy-less but we didn't spend a fortune trying to buy it.

Dear o dear o dear. Glasgow did not spend a fortune trying to buy a trophy - we have a nice local company called Belt-Up (how apt) trophies that supply them on a weekly basis - its called sponsorship.

However, the owners did spend a fortune on buying and refurbishing the stadium including the land as well as 'purchasing' the speedway team - its called investment.

we kindly loan you Anders Thomsen - its called assisting less fortunate clubs.

if yo want to see why we want to meet Edinburgh again (don't think we will) look at the photos on the Glasgow web site - its called a crowd, a very big crowd

That's about right it is only us that can slag them anyone else we stick up for them in all seriousness though it is going to take something special to stop them and yes they did smash us in the cup final we are just not at there level yet.

Come to think off it there is no team at there level simple as that.

Grondal will tear up the Edinburgh track.

Thought Konopka didn't like grippy tracks will probably need a hand to tear up the track though even with it being pretty small.

I am sorry our team did turn up, you clearly haven't looked at all the photos on the website.

Good to see you've borrowed another rider at no.1

I would have waited to see how you get on against them first.

Wonder what the insults would have been like if we hadn't loaned you Anders for half a dozen meeting's

Anyway best off luck against the Monarchs you are going to need it.

Would rather a team from sweaty sockland won....get my drift. We didn't try and buy trophies the facena's done something that speedway fans dream about and bought the club, land and turned a washout stadium into a place that's fabulous to visit on a Sunday to watch speedway.

Aggressive paranoia, methinks! can't help wondering if they have stopped English interpretation in schools. I said 'good to see you have borrowed another rider at no 1'. Normal folk would read this as thank god we're not going with rider replacement or a junior rider but oh no he must be having a go cos everyone else thinks its ridiculous that we've used guests at no 1 for most of the season whether for Allen or Ulrich. if you want to think that that is up to you.

Despite all the money spent Glasgow are still living in Edinburgh's shadow. Their fans are now rooting for Edinburgh it seems. How odd.

You must have noodles for brains. Everyteam is living in Edinburghs shadow at the minute you's included.

The biggest percentage was spent upgrading the Stadium with has brought a lot of fans back, they can only track 7 riders the same as everyone else who are all living in Monarchs shadow.

Still must be galling to see your nearest rivals being successful. Luckily we don't have that problem at Peterborough.
