screm 8,076 Posted May 7, 2016 Holub is not a new rider this season, he was signed last season, the rule applies to this season IMO until Holub got a proper average he should still be classed as a new rider, and in this case should now have a 5pt average.
New era Panthers 2,055 Posted May 7, 2016 Holubs has changed because Scunthorpe have had 4 official meetings both home and away so he has established an average. Which I assume must be under 3 so they have put him on the minimum you are allowed which is 3. Redcar have only had 1 home and 2 away official meetings so a long way to go before Buckhav gets to establish his own average. Which will be 5 regardless of his prospective minus 3 average he will achieve
Paul Johnson 285 Posted May 7, 2016 if he started this season as a new rider then he cant drop, he started last year as did lyager, if he comes back then he will get a true average, as stated the rule was changed at the start of the season. the teams who have an assessed rider who came in new this season will benefit next season if the riders sign again for the club

screm 8,076 Posted May 7, 2016 If Holob`s average was never going to drop below five, I wonder if he would've been signed by Scunthorpe for this season, or maybe he would've done better than he has so far.
Paul Johnson 285 Posted May 7, 2016 i wonder, but if you think scunny will be stronger ill take that,
lucifer sam 3,960 Posted May 7, 2016 (edited) If Holob`s average was never going to drop below five, I wonder if he would've been signed by Scunthorpe for this season, or maybe he would've done better than he has so far. Rob G more-or-less said Wilko was going back to reserve on centre green during Scunny vs Plymouth meeting. We thought Holub would end up on a 5.00. Holub rode well at Ippo, had a bike too powerful for the Scunny track for the first two home matches, then got taken off at Peterborough and got injured. I don't think our team plans have altered, whether Holub is on 3.00 or 5.00. All the best Rob Edited May 7, 2016 by lucifer sam
