Absolutely no doubting NK's total professionalism & fair to say he would trap more often than not at

EWR? However, Rob has quipped more than once how NK comes at a cost and as such I'm pretty sure NK remains out of the Scunny budget? Also read that NK has already tied up 2016 contracts in Poland & Germany which would seem to rule him out on Sundays? Suspect NK is not our plan A, B or see??

short term contract whilst zeb gets his average?

Decisive action from the management in my opinion. We are getting a rider we know well it should see us off to a good start. Nicolai is on a false average and in a relatively young team he will be an experienced head to have around. It may be shorter term but then again that had been the intention with Theo and he ended up being the cornerstone of the 2015 team. Averages are bound to come into it and if Nicolai's Polish ride means him stepping out then we may have the means to make another change. Andreas Lyager would be in my thinking for sure. Its an astute sensible move; probably not an inexpensive one either. But if we mean business in 2016 we mean business and we obviously do. Welcome back Nicolai and well done Rob and the team.

Certainly appears a smart move and gets us out of an unwelcome hole. More than likely Zeddys figure will drop but a purposeful NK should also make an absolute mockery of that starting average so will have to see how things pan out? Great to see Nicolai back on board and if anything should potentially set things up even stronger for an exciting 2016 season ahead? Not sure what Rye fans make of all this but some you win and bring it on!

Not a bad signing with the current lack of rider availability got lucky with him signing for Leicester and leaving Rye, people saying on a false average but he has had this average over the last 3 years or so, its not really false but he is a decent 6 pointer.

Looks like he will only be at Scunthorpe till the Polish fixtures start, hopefully by then Scunthorpe will have Hollob on a true average.

Rob ... Why would you sign a rider on a 7 point average if it is "realistic" that it is going to drop ?

simple really its the only way to bring new riders and we bring them in on the assessed average wether its right or not ,They always drop in the first couple of months due to the competiveness of the premier league and how long a rider adapts to it .we are now fortunate that we can use this to our advantage for a change
