2016 Euro's - Live On Tv

Recommended Posts

FIM put the rights up for the official world pairs recently, neither BSI or one sport were interested.

Shall we wait "a few weeks" (as per the article provided by Ghostwalker) to see what the situation is about the Pairs tournament's TV coverage?

Presumably the last round is in Poland but no idea why they r drip feeding each announcement & taking so long about it??

Looking at going to it & trying to catch some Ekstraliga action so hope they pull their fingers out & announce it soon so we can all plan ahead.

You are not going to be able do a lot of planning-we know the SEC last round is on September 17th in Poland-however the next day is play-offs final and 3rd/4th match1st legs-so could be anywhere.

Not officially being announced until tomorrow-but Rybnik will hold final SEC round on September 17th -according to Polish sources.

Also an interesting interview on Sportowefakty with One sports Jan Konikiewicz regarding the SBPC speedway best pairs in which he states that they have been forced by the FIM to stop using national teams from 2016-hence the change to "sponsors " named teams such as Fogo and Nice http://sportowefakty.wp.pl/zuzel/571992/runela-koncepcja-sbpc-wladze-fim-wymusily-zmiany

One Sport have said that the 3 wild-cards will not be named this season until after the SEC qualifying final in Olching on May 26th. 7 riders qualify from this meeting to the 4 finals.

Not that there was anything wrong with last years.Tough job but I suppose someone has to do it.

Amazing how sexism differs from the UK to Eastern Europe.

Russian nominations for the SEC qualifiers

30.04. - Debreczyn - Gleb Czugunow
05.05. - Mureck - Wadim Tarasienko
14.05. - Liberec - Andriej Kudriaszow, Wiktor Kułakow
15.05. - Żarnowica - Renat Gafurow, Denis Gizatullin

this is a translation of a Sportowefakty article-very interesting

Russian supporters of Speedway surprising lack of nominations for Grigory Łaguta and Artiom Łaguta. This is probably the disciplinary sanction imposed by the federation, linked to the incidents involving the two brothers, which took place during last year's finals Individual Championship of Russia in Togliatti

How stupid is this? Do the Russian MFR really think that the Laguta's will ride for them in the SWC, when they treat them like that?

Maybe One sport will give them each a wildcard to the final series
