george.m 3,063 Posted December 22, 2015 I assume it's giro day in Glasgow? Seems to have been a lot of Bucky consumed this evening. Us Edinburgh residents drink G&T I'll have you know!

Fenway Bleachers 2,665 Posted December 22, 2015 Welcome to JYE ....!!! We`ll need to do something with that Christian name as the locals might have a bit of bother getting the tongue round it. staying with sam and Tegan so they`ll point him to all points good and bad. Guess the no2 jacket should fit and he can follow sam round the place and get good tutelage. We have been pretty good with aussies and this should be another. Though we have better beer, just take a wee sip now and then.

iand 133 Posted December 22, 2015 So does this mean that the final rider has to be the No 7 3pt NL rider which rules out Branford?
TheScotsman 2,484 Posted December 22, 2015 Yes 'fraid so.
ZODIAK 304 Posted December 22, 2015 Ideally you'd want him starting at reserve. A tough ask starting in the main body in your first year of pro racing. Over a point under the limit and quite a tail..
TheScotsman 2,484 Posted December 22, 2015 A load of improvement expected from Erik, Max & Jye though, so we should be flying by play-off time.
ZODIAK 304 Posted December 22, 2015 Jye? If he even manages to hold his 5 point average then he'll have done very well imo.

Fromafar 10,408 Posted December 22, 2015 Dan Greenwood it is then.Whoever it is he is riding on terms the Edinburgh offer and not over inflated terms their original 3pt man was wanting and was told too " forget it" according to article in EEN.

TheScotsman 2,484 Posted December 22, 2015 Dan Greenwood it is then. Are Coventry Storm moving away from Fridays? Jye? If he even manages to hold his 5 point average then he'll have done very well imo. He's beaten virtually all of the top Aussies back home. And he'll be settled here with Sam. And he's coming into the best team spirit in the league. Should do well.
Reviresco 708 Posted December 22, 2015 Jye? If he even manages to hold his 5 point average then he'll have done very well imo. If it's correct that all 'new' riders start on a 5pt ave and cannot drop below that average for the whole season, then Edinburgh will have to hope that Jye does maintain his average at least, especially as the team's starting averages will be 6pts lower than they finished in 2015.
