RobMcCaffery 2,752 Posted June 25, 2016 If even the Marketa can be made to give good racing it underlines the progress that SGP has made this year in providing greatly improved racing. Despite weather and the problems domestically the racing so far this year is suggesting we're enjoying a vintage season.
severnsider 197 Posted June 25, 2016 Some really good racing tonight again this season. Congratulations especially to Doyle and Harris. Big lead for Hancock given tightness of series

nw42 2,048 Posted June 25, 2016 Another top drawer speedway meeting for the cameras, considering the general lack of enthusiasm for that track it produced some close racing, riders all prepared to get stuck in. Well done Chris Harris, richly deserved rostrum place. Doyle quietly went about his work tonight and had the speed when it counted, well done to him.
RobMcCaffery 2,752 Posted June 25, 2016 BT are showing the after-race press conference again. Don't remember Sky or Eurosport bothering, or is it a new feature on the international feed?

Mark 1,497 Posted June 25, 2016 Good work from Bomber. Has to be an even harder choice for Rosco now for SWC Racing was the best ever from marketa. Didnt have much to beat but a very good GP.

The two young Poles are adding plenty to the series, with Lindgren infinitely more exciting to watch than Hampel. Emil who?

RobMcCaffery 2,752 Posted June 25, 2016 (edited) The two young Poles are adding plenty to the series, with Lindgren infinitely more exciting to watch than Hampel. Emil who? Sayfutdinov would be the icing on the cake. A truly beautiful racer. Both he and the SGP are diminished by his absence. This is much more than due to the riders. The tracks are definitely hugely improved with riders going for the outside burst being rewarded rather than just falling further behind. crumpiefan 44 Posted June 25, 2016 Thought so. No coincidence (to me at least) that the racing seems to be better recently. Going back 6-7 years i remember seeing the gp tracks and they were like roads
