Peterborough V Somerset Pl Sunday 24th April

Recommended Posts

This match will be a good test for the Panthers following one of their best starts of the season after two very good away wins.

No news on the team fronts but both expected to be at full strength.

This meeting is going to be harder than the two away fixtures. All the riders must contribute tomorrow. Josh, Rohan and Paul Starke have ridden the showground well and I like their reserve Zach. We do have an advantage that Somerset have not raced much so will go for a win of 49-41 to the Panthers.

STADIUM REMINDER

Saturday April 23, 2016
peterborough_new.jpgPETERBOROUGH chiefs would like to reiterate that standing at the back of the main East of England Showground grandstand is no longer permitted.

This is as a result of a directive from our landlords on health and safety grounds.

We had to issue a number of requests for fans in that area to take a seat during our last home meeting on April 8.

We have been warned that our permission to race at the Showground will be withdrawn should the situation arise again.

Promoter Ged Rathbone said: “I appreciate the full co-operation of all supporters on this matter.”

Warn them once then escort them out of the Showground.

You go and stand at the back on your own then, at least the rest of us will get to see what an idiot looks like! Before you get thrown out and get a ban.

Or more likely you can stand on your own in your back garden being a rebel, closest you get to the Showground I would think.

Just been checking the FAQs fo Truckfest next weekend. I can't see a similar warning so we await to see if it's one rule for speedway and another rule for those who shout louder
