Poole Pirates Vs Coventry Bees 20/7/16 Elite B

Recommended Posts

The Pirates will be looking for swift revenge over the Bees when both sides meet on Wednesday at Wimborne Road.

Last night's loss at Brandon a fired up Coventry side were deserved winners against a less hungry Poole team.

Poole will need to ensure they pick up all 3 point's against the Bees next week. Having matches in hand is OK but with out away form as it is we can't afford any more losses at home.

Thoughts?

Depends if Garrity is back by then? Is Kyle back? Although Garrity is not that great at Poole. I think we should get the win but if King has a good night it might keep it to 6-8 points.

Garrity is sadly not back until August due to a broken arm. He had been in brilliant form so a big miss. Not sure if Sarjeant will be back.

Plymouth say Newman is hoping to be back next week. He's gone private and having weekly X-rays and all is looking good. If no then I'm sure you can have one of your super guests that have been winning meetings for you 😉

I think Poole will win at home as we have been very poor away. Their heatleaders should be better there than how they were last night and our reserves are way too weak. Plus the fact there will most likely be no dirt and Poole are better at gating than racing.

The two home wins were what were important to us 😉

We've been massive underdogs before and won at Poole but can't see us doing much. Need our top 3 to perform then we may keep it close ish.

Easy win for Poole, we never do any good down there.

Our top 3 should do ok but we will get found out at reserve.

Following more specialist physiotherapy and another x-ray, Kyle is due to have an official practice at Peterborough today. If he comes through the practice successfully then he'll be back for Poole on Wednesday - but he will not come back unless he feels 100% fit to return.

Comfortable win for the Pirates against one of the leagues worst teams.

Thats great news. Shame he couldn't have ridden last night because that would have been enough to cover for Andersen's effort.

Andersen's lack of effort you mean! Totally agree Ellis Perks did well but nowhere what Kyle would have got.

That's like Coventry missing Garrity and also Woryna would have scored more than 0.

However it's all ifs and buts

Why do you keep going on about Garrity?

When you replace nearly the lowest averaging second string with a better rider most people would be happy. Barker has replaced Garrity twice for Coventry this season and is doing a 'Garrity' by averaging more than Garrity, lol!

Are you his mum?

Agree Garrity is only averaging 5 at home, he's better away.
