snapper 193 Posted August 20, 2016 I am guessing now that with all this bad weather and Edinburgh needing to get the matches on the said superior covers will be getting used every week from now on
Fromafar 10,413 Posted August 21, 2016 Don't know what all the fuss is about covers, like I have said in another thread there are too many variables to sing the praises of covers. The main one being riders will not even take their bikes out of the van if it raining at the time the meeting is due to start.I don't waste my time if I think that will be the case.
Dekker 239 Posted August 21, 2016 Can't believe the weather forecast for Friday is showing rain in the afternoon/evening AGAIN. They've had SEVEN wash-outs already this season. Find out who laid the orginal yellow track for Tim Stone, then use that. It could take hell of a rain and on a "balmy" Scottish friday shouldnt give the dust problem we all remember from Sunday afternoons.
Gazc 7,140 Posted August 21, 2016 "a date which will live in infamy" (FDR) For some it appears but most have moved on . Sadly there are far more important things to concern normal people.

Tsunami 10,219 Posted August 21, 2016 Find out who laid the orginal yellow track for Tim Stone, then use that. It could take hell of a rain and on a "balmy" Scottish friday shouldnt give the dust problem we all remember from Sunday afternoons. Remember those days with the oatmeal looking shale. One time we were staying overnight on the Saturday, and I rang Tim at 11.00am and it was lashing down, and I was ready to hit the road home. Tim was confident and sure enough it started at 2.30pm with a decent track that nobody would have thought possible.
