Gr8scot 589 Posted August 27, 2016 (edited) From last night's programme:- Erik is off to Finland tomorrow for the third leg of the World long track Grand Prix. After the second leg in Holland on Monday Erik leads the Championship by eleven points. Tomorrow was also due to be the day that the European Under 21 Team championships take place. When the German federation realised that Erik wouldn't be available they changed it to Sunday. Erik declined to ride in that event, preferring to be at Newcastle and that prompted the Germans to threaten a ban Edited August 27, 2016 by Gr8scot

Gr8scot 589 Posted August 27, 2016 I don't know how these Federations get away with threatening riders to get their own way! They organised the fixtures for the same day so the fault is entirely theirs! I suppose we should be grateful they didn't want Mark as well and Kevin is on the wrong side of
TheScotsman 2,483 Posted August 27, 2016 Germans are getting a bit threatening. I blame Frau Merkel. Going to be a hammering for our lads.
