mdmc82 2,878 Posted September 8, 2016 About as often as KK Kaspazak has mainly only missed meetings on the day of the SEC but has been great missing GP practice for the bees and riding the night before the SEC meetings. When he had been there he has been a joy to watch. Lots of double figures this year. Speaking of number 1s, what's happening with Freddie. Riding well in GP & challenger but yet only scoring 4,6,5 for Wolves in last few home meetings?

mdmc82 2,878 Posted September 8, 2016 What with Hougaard guesting very funny!! Are you being serious? Max Fricke is a much better rider than Patrick so yes Belle Vue are weakened. Also having to use reserves to replace Nicholls

Also having to use reserves to replace NichollsYes but Paddy got 14 last night as an away rider so not much different to Fricke. When was the last time Fricke got 14? They have to use a reserve but have you seen how Jacobs is going at Belle Vue lately, we have Tungate guesting who got 3 last night. Belle Vue are going to have to ride very poorly not to win
Steve Shovlar 10,439 Posted September 8, 2016 The league favourites Belle Vue have got the perfect guest in Hougaard who boosts their team strength somewhat. Hougaard is certainly better than Fricke around BV as anyone with an ounce of speedway knowledge can see. Just waiting for Palm Toft to come in now to replace Richie Worrall. What with Hougaard guesting very funny!! It really does seem this Gavan chap is determined to make a pillock of himself on every single Poole theead. Admire his determination to do it though.
damosuzuki 696 Posted September 8, 2016 Worral is in the Glasgow team just announced for Saturday at Workington so don't see why he wouldn't be riding on Monday (!)

So take away double points it would be 12 from 6 rides. Max scored 10 from 5 rides last time
Phil The Ace 2,860 Posted September 8, 2016 Richie is riding. Dont worry
SUPERACE 440 Posted September 8, 2016 No doubts belle vue are weakened without fricke and nicholls. Paddy is a good guest but Fricke is superb round belle vue.
damosuzuki 696 Posted September 8, 2016 R/R for Nicholls doesn't look like a huge loss to me, tbh. He's improved slightly at the NSS but only managed 4 the last time Poole visited. Jacobs and the Worrals will manage more than that.

We are in the plays offs so I'm sure Freddie will raise his game when it matters.
Ace no.5 169 Posted September 8, 2016 All the talk of BV being strengthened but let's not forget the only time Tungate rode our track he scored 15+2 from 6 rides... Poole definitely strengthened!
ouch 1,191 Posted September 8, 2016 (edited) Missing our best rider in Max and the Captain Scott makes us considerably weaker. We had 7.50 to fill Max's spot but we've remained loyal to our assets and gone with Patrick on his low 6.30 average. That would normally put him a reserve for us using current green sheets. Having to use mainly reserves to cover Scott only increases the pressure. The final nail in our coffin is Mr Paid Seventeen Tungate, an astute horses for courses pick from Ford. Poole by 7, unfortunately. Just thought is Partrick in place of Max as his average is so low he could replace Scott and we could run R/R for Max with everyone taking a ride? Might save our bacon.
