TheScotsman 2,483 Posted September 18, 2016 Panties are lucky they don't have dog racing on other nights at the stadium and obviously don't have the same planning constraints. There are houses next door to Armadiddle and a planning application in to redevelop the stadium into more houses so absolutely it would be crazy to alienate the locals and the council even more. If a Monday was possible it would be another loss maker and the club has lost a fortune already this season having had 9 postponements and other rain affected meetings. Edinburgh's alternative night is Saturday and that was no good to Peterborough either. As for 3 dates they could be the following 3 Fridays.
Mr Blobby 2,662 Posted September 18, 2016 Our race night is Friday that is the night we have permission to ride. Our alternative night is a Saturday and even if we want to ride a Saturday we need to get permission to do so. We aren't in a position to ride whatever night we want unfortunately. scoobydoo 2,254 Posted September 18, 2016 So when Edinburgh have restrictions set for race nights and stadium availability it's fine but if Peterborough have H&S , stadium work or other availability issues stipulated by the showground owners it's a crime and ridiculed by everyone.

shazza 32 Posted September 19, 2016 Why do they have a cut off date anyway? always thought the speedway season ran through till October 31
Super Blue 616 Posted September 19, 2016 Why do they have a cut off date anyway? always thought the speedway season ran through till October 31 Think that might be because they then need to find dates for the playoff meetings, just a guess mind.
Panthers89 1,922 Posted September 21, 2016 1. Simon Stead 8.43 2. Cameron Heeps 5.59 3. Matej Kus 6.24 4. Kenneth Hansen 7.07 5. Lasse Bjerre 6.90 6. Tom Perry 4.26 7. 3.00 41.49 I'd be happy with that, all racers, and all on decent averages with scope for improvement

Tom Perry 4.26 7. 3.00 41.49 I'd be happy with that, all racers, and all on decent averages with scope for improvement with ged,s hire and fire scheme , i dont think kenneth will last a season with the panthers . his home scores will be ok, but his away form is very different . great to watch at home , but a wee bit poor on away tracks . so i will stick my neck out and say he will be a panther net season, but as to how long he will last is another thing if ged is still in charge . reading between the lines i think ged will move closer to his home and start afresh . berwick, redcar or workington . but its all pie in the sky at the moment and this 2016 season has not finished yet , apart from you guys ! dont think perry will be back for you and kus will back at jawdee land . Crump99 4,476 Posted September 21, 2016 As Dick said, it's all a bit pointless anyway until we know what mess the powers that be ratify at the AGM. Added to that, until Rathbone decides, if he hasn't already, then we could be PL, EL or the owners could knock on the head if they can't find a buyer or someone to rent the rented operation.
