Was booked to ride for Poo straight after Lakeside knocked us out...make what of that as you require

Not sure 'booked to ride' is correct?! He was asked to be on standby and was happy to be so for the chance of any extra rides that came his way - after unexpectedly having his Swindon season cut short!!:wink::D

I think the 4 home defeats were when Rohan couldn't ride The Abbey & it will be interesting to see where he ends up in 2017.

Poo is a rude word and has no place on a family forum. Tunny can bugger off to Pooe he wasn't much good at windon apart from the Pooe match.

Wondered when the Poole Massif would arrive and hijack the thread!

Rotten luck for Doyley. In a tweet he said he doesn't know the full extent of his injuries and included a photo of his right arm in plaster and a chest drain on his left side. Hope he makes a speedy recovery and he was oh so close to becoming world champion too. Gutted for him.

Gutted for Doyle. He had one hand on the trophy 😞 Such a cruel way for his year to end when so close.

Terrible accident that was not his fault, but feel for him having done so well all year only to have this happen prior to the last GP.

The old saying was over a Gp,season the best rider would always win Emil was injured Tai won it. Doyley is now injured Greg will win it,is that Statement true a big NO for me it can be just as cruel as the one off final.

Crazy have a look back in all those defeats other riders were poor we never reached the play/offs because our team was not good anough Rohan should not be a scapegoat.

Hopefully full recovery for our skip. Was going to Melbourne Gp but glad we changed our travel plans. Tough dude Doyley remember him breaking his neck when reserve in that superb 2012 champions team.

The reason he was leading the standings, is that he was prepared to place himself at great risk, and had the nerves of steel to do it on a repeated basis, more often than the others.

Hopefully he will be able to continue in that way next season and not experience such cruel luck.

It's a real shame for him that GP winners don't get rewarded with more points than the basic race win, otherwise he could have been out of Hancocks reach by now.

Even before Lindgren lifted and messed Bomber up do people think that Lingren was mighty tough on Doyle before the crash.

Its the world championships not some tin pot easter trophy, Doyle was in the wrong place at the wrong time.
